  1. KX19DZU The registration of my damaged and written off car in bold, so hopefully no one is caught out. I've just been made aware that the car is currently being advertised on FB and Ebay as an Easy Easy Fix! I drove the car home after the accident and the steering wheel was out by a good 45°. It also drove strangely as if it was crabbing a bit. There was damage to the N/S floor, transmission tunnel, scuttle panel and dash support bar. As well as the point of impact at the N/S doorway. I believe the chassis to be damaged and bent. Whilst I'm sure it is repairable, I think the quoted damage has been underestimated. It's is good though, that they are offering to Mot it for you. Again hopefully no unsuspecting person is caught out. https://ebay.us/m/wpcykc

  2. Ahh, TVR Glen! The tales I could tell you about him and this operation... if I weren't on a public forum and those comments would unnecessarily land me and the club in a courtroom... Allow me to say something that I can say without that happening: MANY OTHER PLACES TO BUY A WESTFIELD ARE AVAILABLE - SEARCH THEM FIRST BEFORE YOU BUY

  3. Let's celebrate the 40th anniversay of our car club by meeting at The Great British Car Journey at 10am for their Kit Car Kaboodle event. There will be a small entrance fee of which the committee will pay towards. More details will be posted on here the week before.

  4. As part of the club's 40th Anniversary I think the best way to celebrate is to drive our Westfield's, so why not join Glen and I for a drive around the Peak District. Meeting point details and route plan will be posted on here the week before, let's invite the sunshine too shall we?

  5. I love the eBay description: “No Suspension or Chassis Damage. The damage is only to the high level bar on the entry area of the passenger side” Is that not the chassis?

  9. @Captain Colonial I suggest then, you don't tell your doctor that you've got a pain around the entrance of your back passage....................as his reply is likely to be "as long as you use it as an entrance, you'll likely have problems" !

  10. Been waiting since December for this one, but well worth it. SBFS Steering wheel bag, takes my modded 250 very nicely, snug, but doesn’t activate any of the buttons so it is ideal.

  11. Indeed. I reported said firm to the H&SE after viewing a video of theirs on YouTube jet washing the underside of a Westfield while it was suspended 7’ up by a forklift. The idiot jet washing it was standing completely underneath it, an extremely dangerous practice as forklift truck hydraulics don’t have anti-burst valves. If the hydraulics had failed in any way, the forks and car would drop unchecked and he would have been killed in a second.
