  4. As Scott said, I have found and removed all of the (encrypted) card details that were on file, so that from now on no auto-renewals should be possible. If anyone does get billed, please shout up.

  5. The Webmaster (all hail the Webmaster and name your first born after him) was also stumped, but on digging deep into the quagmire of info discovered an encrypted file containing stored encrypted card details. I agreed with him that was probably where the issue was, which did not occur until the club changed payment portals from PayPal to Stripe just over a year ago. He asked if those card details (which were encrypted, just to be clear again) should be deleted, to which I said yes, do it please. So if anything goes wrong, it’s on my head. The only tiny inconvenience is that no one will be able to store their card details backstage any longer, so you will need to input your full card details every time you purchase or renew your membership, but better that than the system taking it without your or our knowledge. Will keep an eye on this…. Pass the vodka, please.

  6. hi i think tyres is a reel problem ,as we all know the old kumho and avon were the tyres to use in road going classes, current 1b tyres dont warm up quick enough for sprints as two to three laps are generally needed to get heat into them. there is off course the pirelli p7 corsa classic ,but the cost is similar to slicks, i think it is a very difficult situaion, personally i think any tyre that is e marked , ie road legal should be allowed to be used.

  9. https://www.donkervoort.com/en/icons/donkervoort-s7-1980/ Given that this 1990 7-type with swept wings and a Crossflow engine and 22k miles on the clock is a mere €95,000 I’d like to announce that The Wench, a 1992 with swept wings, an injected CVH and fewer than 7,000 miles is for sale for a mere €94,000… such a bargain! Form an orderly queue below.

  10. New tyres to replace my 20 year old budget ones. I was getting the wheels refurbished today, but I seem to have booked a skiing holiday somehow.

  11. A few bits and pieces for me over the last few days. I need to save a bit of distance on the steering wheel to give me more arm room, and found a Springalex boss which saves me a cm or so. Also some switch guards which came from the US (couldn’t find any in stock in UK) and a DPST switch for my hazards. I also got a 180W indicator relay to replace the old 30W jobbie I had. I’m sure that’s way more than needed but my hazards are now blinking again
