  1. The doors with this Westy I’m refurbing were very tired looking with tatty edges and faded cloth, the windows wears quite badly scratched in places, anyway I did some repairs using “Shoe glue”. I've fitted some edging and gave them a really good clean, sprayed the material with autoglym spray dye, and then polished the windows with head light restorer and a sponge buffing pad. quite pleased with the result.

  2. Not sure about that, I’ve met a few people from Lanarkshire who were a bit flakey.

  9. Take it easy with those T1R tyres ifit rains Change them at your earliest convenience. I suggest Rainsports or Accelera for all round road tyres.

  10. Thanks for all the advice folks No idea on the age of the toyo proxies...my old MX5 had them and not sure I trust them much in the wet so will take it gingerly! I'm actually collecting it from James so will say hello from you guys I'm based in SG12 Ware, will keep an eye out for local meet ups and maybe even a few longer ones. Once I've done 200 odd miles what's a few more

  15. Saturday dinner time, sat doing nothing in particular, some friends say they're going skiing, anyone want to join them. An hour later I'm at their house booking it. Monday morning I'm on my way to Andorra for 3 days skiing. 13 years since the last time and 39 from my first time on snow. I've had a great time and can't wait to do it all again next year. This is what retirement is all about.
