  1. I have a MT75 2.4 transit gearbox, available foc, has noisy input bearing, may be of some use to somebody. Bolts direct to Duratec engine, and takes the Westfield gearlever extension. Collection only from CW11.

  2. Prepared to be bored... First, glad you like the overall colour scheme. which I think suits the 40th anniversary theme. It took a good deal of tinkering to get it looking that smart. It was the shade of red that seemed to work best across the range of things overall. Second, thanks for pointing out the slight issues. I can see a few more minor ones that I couldn't see until it went live, which I'll get to at some point. With regards to this: It now looks like this: The main problem is the colour of the numbers you circled will always be the same as the colour of the text under the title of the post, in the case "By Hedley Bennett". They cannot be separated. You can see in your example that this colour was a light grey, making it difficult to spot against a white or dark red background, as does black against a dark red bar. The only thing to do was to make the bar colour contrasting yellow (which will satisfy certain members!) and make the text colour for that bar and the indicated text black. I can assure you that was a LOT easier said than done, as there are thousands of colour variations backstage, many of which are labelled in an incomprehensible manner, that have to be tested one by one to see if they make a difference and revert them back if they do not, one by one, over and over again. Tedious is the word. So i am working on it - please be patient.

  3. I love the red banner, but have to say yellow is the colour for a westfield....

  4. I wasn't going to be a grumpy old man so soon into the new year, but could we please have the old theme available as an option? The red makes everything seem like a warning or announcement. Red is danger, blue is calm...

  10. As any properly trained husband knows, the 40th anniversary is ruby, hence the new colour for this year is ruby red. Red is also the best colour for a Westfield, contrary to what some might say…

  11. Received refurbished shocks for my track Westfield from https://www.thunderlane.eu . I bought the car in 2018, with a few years of history before that, and I think the shocks had never been overhauled. They got new bearings, thinner valves for a lightweight car, new bump stops, etc. They were dyno tested (I don’t understand those diagrams at all , but I was assured they were matched in pairs). I’m really curious whether I’ll feel the difference. When they were “new” ( I mean after few seasons in Westfield Cup NL , and on some endurance challenges (got few broken wishbones with that car ) , even on the softest settings the car was quite darty. Hopefully this effort and the expense — will be noticeable Edit – oh, and I had my springs measured: front (RED) 60 N/mm, rear (BLACK) 40 N/mm. Not sure if this is right or wrong, but at least I now have a baseline if I learn which way to go softer or stiffer at the front or rear in the future.
