Winter tinkering just got serious - was a big “postie” van that brought this 🤣

I thought I would resurrect this thread as we are entering the time of year that see's mental health issues raise their heads again. Local to me a young girl hung herself after being made redundant which was the straw that broke the camels back from what others have said. Plus today a person has been hit by a train again near where I live, not clear yet if this was an accident but it was on a stretch not readily open to the public. I like many have had issues in the past and most of us may know people who might appreciate a friendly chat, so I know we are busy but that chat might be just what they need. Just a thought

Arrived unexpectedly Wednesday! Obtained courtesy of a local WSCC WhatsApp group member Rory Jones. He's probably on here too but I don't know his handle. He and some friends did a charity event for the British Heart Foundation. It was a box-kart race in Bristol. This was their 2nd time hence the 'return' bit. It made the Points West news and he very kindly allowed me to buy a shirt! I mean how could I resist right! This will be my shirt for Malvern next year, hopefully it will be 4th time lucky as I've been kiboshed every time so far! 🥺 It would be nice to meet some of the names and faces I now know from this forum! The rules vary slightly by state, with it generally being more difficult and involved than the UK but it is doable. I was building mine for use in Australia before moving back to the UK and the IVA seemed easy compared to requirements there...

Try heating it with a hair dryer 1st, that may help no matter which method you use.

Ok I see. I was just thinking I'm near Bristol, I could have met you and you could have left items with me, then anyone who bought anything would have another optional place to collect from if it was easier for them that's all mate. Trying to be more helpful in my senior years 🫣😂

Yeah it's quite a collection isn't it. Looks like there's been a couple of changes, apparently there is another 2 storage facilities with even more cars. Just a pity that they are crammed in, would be better in a purpose built space.
