Like Ian has already stated it’s about have a good time with like minded people. From what can recall the Crispin was a squeeze and I struggled to part due to having a very little car park, but would still attend if that’s was the venue of choice. Thank you Andrew and Clare for your time and efforts in organising a great Christmas dinner. 👍1 point

You wouldn't be the first with cold-start map issues. see https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/topic/166835-running-great-but-only-after-multiple-attempts/#comment-16608201 point

Hi @AndrewBClarke I've thoroughly enjoyed all 3 (the last 3), I've attended. For me It's more about the great company and the interaction, than location for me. If I recall it was a little more cramped at the Crispin, but still a great event. Given the considerably distance you kindly travel to host the event, we're happy to be guided by your preference!1 point

Quick question - I have now organised 4 Peaky Christmas meals. First was at a carvery in Newark, second was at The Crispin in Great Longstone and the last two at The Bentley Brook Inn in Fenny Bentley. Where would you like to go again / next?? ‘Like’ if Newark was your favourite ‘Ha Ha’ if The Crispin is your choice and ‘Thanks’ if The Bentley Brook is preferred or make a suggestion via PM1 point

We went for a drive today to drop off something at my BiL’s, which is about twelve miles away. Ended up doing just over seventy miles in the end 😂 Also I wanted to get a shot of the car in his garden, which basically overlooks all of Shropshire, but I forgot to take a pic, so here’s one of the Spitfire in the same place… The Westfield runs great, but it can be a pig to start when it’s been sitting for a week or so. I almost gave up, but a quick squirt of Easy Start and it fired straight away. This suggests to me that there’s an issue, but I’m not sure what 🤷♀️ Any suggestions from the crowd would be welcomed👍1 point
