Well done to @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO for pushing the boundry and arriving in style. Billy Senior's wife, Sue was busy ogling the cakes with me, maybe we should visit here on our next outing just to see if they taste as good as they look Salmon and crayfish starter with a touch of melon, delish mmmm A range of desserts, all excellent as was the main Turkey dinner which I forgot to photograph, no-one went home hungry Xmas Pud the size of a brick So here we are, stuffed, having enjoyed another excellent Christmas Party. 4. Some Westfield decals from Zen Graphics to replace the Compomotive ones on my new wheels. Although the current ones do seem to be very well stuck on - might need to borrow a hairdryer to apply some heat…

  6. Just polishing the driving shoes, the Westfield is staying safely under wraps in this filthy weather, so although there won’t be the usual run out beforehand, we are very much looking forward to the afternoon session. See you all tomorrow.

  9. A few packages arrived today — a kit with Powerlite calipers, Wilwood BP40 pads (I’m hoping they won’t be worse than the DS1.11), 265 mm solid discs, and a few small bits for installing the handbrake. Besides that, a 3.62 differential with a Gripper plate LSD for the MNR. Now I ‘only’ need to put it all together…

  10. Freshly arrived from Burton Power - a set of 4 pot callipers, bigger discs, fast-road pads and braided hoses. Hopefully this’ll make the car stop more quickly than it currently does, still running on the original Cortina callipers, discs and pads fitted by the factory 32 years ago!

  11. The steering wheel buttons can be back-lit, but only for night time visibility. The active circuits would normally use the standard dash telltales. You can fit an illuminated dash CAN keypad though, which does light up brighter on the active circuits (there can be up to 14 of those) Edit to add a reminder that WSCC members have a 10% discount on my products since the whole business came about through this great club 💙

  12. Ah, sadly monster machine miss-fire hasn’t been resolved yet. Will try tomorrow and see what further I can find. That said, I’m working all next weekend, anyway, sadly. One of the “you can only have access out of office hours”, commercial jobs we do.

  13. Apologies, couldn't make it. Family medical stuff coming from all directions at the moment and a tad overwhelmed.
