Wanted: Westfield Fast Road/Trackday Car - London ULEZ Compliant (Euro 4) Hi everyone, I've been a WSCC member for about 10 years. Sadly I had to sell my Westfield SEiW 2.0 Zetec tourer just over three years ago, but I'm now looking for another. I still want to be able to go touring, but this time I'm after something a bit more track focused. Due to a certain mayor of London though, I now live in a ULEZ (ultra low emission zone) and have to pay £12.50 a day to use a non-compliant car. I've already got one car which isn't compliant and it's a real pain in the wallet, so there's no way I want another. That generally (but not always) means the new Westie will have to be post 2010, and on a regular number plate not a Q. If you're not sure if your car complies its easy to check by putting the number plate in here: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/check-your-vehicle/ I've looked at a few ads but nothing says "I'm the one" yet. Maybe I haven't seen your ad, or maybe you're thinking of selling but haven't listed it yet. I'm sure just the right car is for sale out there somewhere, just got to find it. So here are the specifics of what I'm looking for: Must be: ULEZ Compliant Wide body (ZK, FW or SEiW) Regular Car Engine (not bike engine, not V8) Fuel injected, and fully engine managed 220hp+ Full and good working order Current mot or no work to pass Highly desirable but not essential: 240hp+ Cage or Roll Bar Wide track front suspension High performance brakes Drop floor (I'm 6' 2" and a bit) Aero screen Light weight seats Minimalist interior. Excellent condition Located in day trip reach from London Budget: Willing to pay in the "teens" for the right car. Good luck with your quest Ken, the right car is out there! Just check out the ULEZ though as I thought my V8 being without any Emissions on the V5C would have made it ULEZ compliant & it is not the case! I have to pay to go into London, Brizzle and Brum - others have checked on ULEZ with Q Plates and are free to play anywhere in the UK - happy searching 🙂
