Got the colour and clear coats on last weekend... ...and got the tub back on the car yesterday. Just a case of putting it all back together now.

A quick reminder to anyone who fancies coming along to our meeting on Tuesday. I'm not sure if the weather will be dry enough to bring some proper cars along though. It would be good to have a chat and see what sort of thing people would like to be doing so we can start making some plans for whatever good salt free weather we get this year and when it's all gone again next year.1 point

We are back to the usual 3rd Thursday of the month for the meet, coming up this week. Also as usual, we will be there from about 7.30pm. We will be indoors for this one so the Nook will be reserved for us. Don't forget deposits for the Christmas meal! The Falcon, Birmingham Road, Hatton, CV35 7HA.

Good day out at Croft on Monday. Looked dodgy driving there with the mist and drizzle, but despite a pretty slippery start the circuit dried out nicely. We've also finally got a handle on the cooling - the car stayed within bounds all day, without any coddling or slow laps to cool. Really pleased! Nice to see another Westfield on track too - a red Zetec. Forgot to ask the driver if he was a club member!
