  1. Good day out at Croft on Monday. Looked dodgy driving there with the mist and drizzle, but despite a pretty slippery start the circuit dried out nicely. We've also finally got a handle on the cooling - the car stayed within bounds all day, without any coddling or slow laps to cool. Really pleased! Nice to see another Westfield on track too - a red Zetec. Forgot to ask the driver if he was a club member!

  2. @Nigel Trilk - Westfield Sportcars Ltd The new cars are looking really excellent and a very sensible progression from the prior models - it's wonderful to see you guys able to promote them publicly at last - good luck with the sales, keeping everything crossed for you! Mike

  4. Edit! Skim reading fail… (oops) the same thing happens on my desktop browser (Safari on a mac) and iPhone (DuckDuckGo). So it looks like it’s a problem with the last forum software update and this out of my control until they release a patch. I’m guessing they used to set a cookie to save the setting but maybe that’s no longer being stored. I will look on the invision forum to see what they say (later)

  7. Thrills, heritage, and innovation meet on track. We @Hedley Bennett (HB46443) - Club Chairman , @Rob Hunter - Club Secretary & the brand-new Westfield Se.NA R-T at Bicester Heritage for its first public test session, An exclusive opportunity to experience the next chapter of Westfield performance. Back-to-back drives with the legendary SeiW Zetec reminded us just how far we’ve come, while a sneak peek at the upcoming Westfield XV showcased where we’re headed. From the XI that started it all in 1982 to the cutting-edge Se.NA, the spirit of Westfield engineering lives on, faster, sharper, and more refined than ever. I didn't take to many images myself, the occasion was like being in a sweet shop! Big thanks to @Westfield Chesil Limited. Look out for the Magazine articles from the press.

  8. Hello I'm luke rom north Wales a new member just acquired my first Westfield this week, must say i love it not surer why i haven't had one sooner after owning a variety of cars, i have joined the forum to gather as much information as possible as i don't know an awful lot. the car is a 2001 seiw in green has a red top engine and it goes really well i don't know to much regarding the engine itself i was told its had a fresh build a couple years ago with pistons etc.. and been told it has uprated cams but not sure as he didn't know and no receipts. i look forward to learning about the car and getting out in it next summer its a bad time to get one coming into winter but I'm very impulsive and once ide seen it had to have it

  9. This morning I drove the A714 from Newton Stewart to Girvin. Unfortunately not in my Westfield. But what a fantastic road. 20 miles of twisty road with perfect tarmac and nothing else on the road at 930 on a Monday morning. Oh and the views aren't bad either ! If you visiting the Galloway Forrest or close by, it's a fab run

  13. Yeah there are some great roads down in that neck of the woods. The A712 through the New Galloway Forest is a favourite and usually pretty quite too, though it's well known biker road too.

  14. I didn’t fit mine but I have removed it which seemed pretty easy. I’m sure others will come along who have fitted one and confirm either way. Either way I’ve attached Raceline’s instructions for you. It might be worth taking a look at BLiNK Motorsports instructions too (attached) and decide whether you want to run a header tank or expansion tank should you decide to fit a water rail. Instruct - Water Rail Fitting 2.doc Raceline WaterRail (BLiNK Logo).pdf The coolant temperature sensor fits on the back of the head in the rail. The rail comes with a couple of 1/8” NPT tapped holes for this purpose.

  15. Just in case there are any doubters out there- I am still alive, I still have the car, it's still fantastic fun and it still makes me grin stupidly. Even better, my youngest (6) thinks it is better than Alton Towers. "How quickly does the red stick (odo needle) get to 60?" Was today's question. The answer was lost in cackling and shouts of 'make it go faster'!

  16. Removed the expansion bottle from my Raceline water rail setup and replaced it with a proper header tank system.
