  1. Additional boot space is an idea I'm brainstorming. As my FW boot has a fuel pump and swirl pot in it.

  2. If you’ve got a minute or so, join me and my daughter on a drive along the coast road between Abbotsbury and West Bay. Spectacular views and well worth a drive if you get the chance. Saw a v nice McLaren parked up at the Chesil Beach Viewing Point too, plus a TVR Griffith.

  8. I’m planning to be there but not sure it’ll be in the Westy, I’ll also see how Tez is and pick him up if he’s up to a drive out… 👍

  9. Love that road - we go to Dorset/Devon & Cornwall every year & my missus is sick of hearing me say “I’d love to drive the Westy from Weymouth to Bridport” very jealous in comparison to watching the sun set over the Wrekin in Shropshire with JLR EPMC (electric propulsion manufacturing centre) in the forefront 🥴

  11. For ages I have been looking for a way of storing tools, tyreweld, compressor, scissor jack, spare throttle cables, etc. in the FW boot so the collection of seemingly random items I carry don't slosh around.... I also wanted the ability to easily take things out when I'm at trackdays. After a few pointless purchases that didn't do the job, I stumbled across some cheap bags when buying some DIY stuff from my local Toolstation. Thankfully in real life they are actually black rather then green! The 450mm slots in nicely (if you don't have it too full) in the smaller lower portion of the boot, and the 750mm sits above it below the lid. You could probably use two 750's if you felt really flush and wanted to spend the extra two hundred pence. The 750mm even accommodated the large PX600 airbox I used for trackday noise reduction. They aren't the last word in quality, but its a "first world problem" solved for just 12 quid! My Scottish genes are very satisfied 😂

  12. The prices for all of their gear look really good! Quite a nice surprise these days to go on a site and think 'blimey that's a good price' mostly I think the opposite lately

  14. A few years ago I got this company to make some made to measure bags for me. I have a bag that's a perfect fit for my SEIW boot. It's slightly padded and really useful to help use the space to the max. Plus it was only around £30. It means you can just fill the bag with tools and whatever and just lift it all in / out. I've also got a bag to store the doors, and bags to slot behind the seats up against the bulk head. I'd say they are a functional well made quality rather than luxury bags, but they serve the purpose perfectly. The doors bag is breathable so it's fine if the doors are not totally dry when you store them. https://www.midwater.co.uk/
