  1. Great success! Lift is in and working and the Spitfire fits a treat, although it seems to be p*ssing petrol straight out of one carb 🙄 I need to move a scaffold pole that was used for hanging stuff off and then I can get it about another 18” higher. Certainly more than enough room for the Westfield to live on bottom bunk, I will have to protect it from golden showers though 😂

  2. Got to test both on a 1000km trip to Hell and Lånkebanen for some autocross on the rallycross-track. Awesome place to drive, and the osgiken really transformed the car. Really predictable and a lot more grip. This is a just-do-it-upgrade if you got a Mazda diff and use the car on track! The carbonbox made the trip up and down much more enjoyable aswell. Happy!

  3. Couple of Westfieds competing in the CNC Heads championship at Donnington yesterday 9th Aug. A very large grid of 40 cars. Alek Modro, in the blue 2.3 Duratec Westfield, on his first visit to Donington qualified 11th, after only completing 6 laps due to the actuator rod on the gearbox failing. Happily the rod was repared and the car could take the grid. In race 1 Alek finished 6th, making up places and gaining track knowledge. Paul Masters in his 2.0 Duratec Westfield qualified in an excellent 5th and finished 5th in race 1. Race 2 is at 1:30 today 10th Aug, Alek starts in 9th, with Paul starting 8th, good luck to both drivers 👍

  4. Lots of people on holiday this month, but still a great turnout from the regulars today - the weather was perfect and a little carpark DIY happened as I fitted a BlinkSTOP with new plug & play loom to Paul's incredible Atom 4. Paul always forgets to turn his indicators off, and sure enough it came into use immediately on his drive home 🙂

  8. I have done a lot of showgrounds in my life for various things. I have to say that when the sun is shining you can't beat Malvern. It's clean, well run and darn Beautiful.

  9. Another thrilling update for all those interested in ‘What have we done’ We will be collecting the car one day the week after next and Andrew at Toybox has come up trumps and found us a roof 😎 This afternoon has been spent fitting the lift. All the heavy stuff is done, electrics and hydraulics tomorrow, hopefully ending with the Spitfire up on top bunk before we go away Monday morning🤞 The good news is, it actually fits!

  10. Third completed TD with MNR – still no issues and..no spins! Re - spins — a slightly different story compared to my early Westfield days 😏. For this TD, the organiser required a side window net to be fitted — needed a bit of welding, etc., but it’s done and gives some extra confidence. Need to do the same im track Westfield .

  20. We had 16 cars down for coming today, but due to various circumstances we managed 10. It didn't rain, although it was cloudy. Lots of kits there, Tigers, MEV and a lot of Caterhams too. https://youtu.be/FldAPC9ngo8?si=IMaHzjJCqvnQQQJC

  21. The engine looks like madza /ford 2.0 Lf engine to me also used in some volvo's which is basically a duratec engine but i have been known to be wrong . Good move i think by the factory to get away from those ecoboost /turbo engines get back to a nice simple n/a

  26. Indeed. The club future (and name) discussion was parked again (from my perspective at least) pending filling the new committee positions (2 still vacant) and pending these promised updates from Westfield Chesil Ltd 🙁
