First of all thank you to everyone that showed up last night 10 kits of which 7 of them were Westfields for our 2nd north east meet in a long time, it was great effort by everyone that turned up. moving forward Sevens @ 7 Breakfast run 28/06/25 after to speaking with you guys last night the consensus was 7 am is to early to meet lol, so plan for that morning is to meet around 8am at the Church Mouse DH23RJ head over to Stanhope, onto Alston and hartside for photo opportunity, then from there head back into Alston and south through to Middleton Teasdale and stain drop etc. ( these are some great driving roads ), before circling back to crook to stop for breakfast/brunch at the diary barn. Anyone interested in this feel free to give me a shout the more the merrier and if I can get some numbers together I will book a table at the dairy barn. North East Meet Tuesday 08/07/25 08/07/25 Church Mouse DH23RJ at 7pm for our monthly meet, would be great to see you guys there again and hopefully a few new ones too please spread the word we will organise a run out for the pub on this evening and try not to stay so static this time lol Car Barn Beamish Best of British 24/07/25 A few of us are booked into this event and hopefully going to try and promote the club a bit, for those that don't know much about these car barn events, These are held on the usually one of the last Thursdays of each month snd this year have been themed, as it states July,s theme is best of British ( which a Westfield is in my eyes ), Car barn is now also a caterham dealer for the north east of this year so it would be great to get as many Westfields/kits there to show a bit support to kit world and also a good bit of banter to have more there then they do lol @westfield_bumble is a regular to these events so if anyone wants any information on getting there or how the event works drop him a message, hopefully see some of you guys there on the day/night. I will try and get a some more runs sorted in the next few months, the weather is half decent so need to make the most of it, we also now have a North East WhatsApp group, if anyone wants to be added to this drop me a message with your number and will add you on. once again thanks for the support so far guys looking forward to getting the North East back on the map added few of pics from last nights meet.3 points

Hi All I am based in Peterborough and just bought a 2019 FW special edition and looking for local enthusiasts. Hoping to see if there is a meet in the Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire or Northamptonshire areas. Also wondering if there are any Westfield specialist garages for servicing and (hopefully not repairs) but I am sure there will be. I certainly fit into the category of being able to just about rustle enough time to clean and drive but not a lot else, hence why I bought as new as possible. Any suggestions of servicing specialist would be great. Looking forward to the journey ahead! All the best1 point

Just to bear in mind…… This weekend is the Dave Myers “Dave day” whereby bikers will travel from London to Barrow in Furness. Last year the event attracted over 46000 bikers travelling up the M6 to Cumbria and ending in Barrow. We may see a residue of these so please bear it in mind, sunday could be a busy time. I’ll put on a plan of the route they’re taking but more can be found online.1 point

Sunday 15th of June This was going to be a driving day, where we would get to our next stay almost directly, and then did the last 20 miles or so the very long way around. It turned out a 9 hour exercise, including lunch, and many petrol stops for yours truly. When we finally arrived at the 2nd stay in Saint-Georges-de-Commiers, the pool was a welcoming sight1 point

Flat battery this morning meant Team Hall did a quick nose cone off and battery swap. I was impressed when we arrived at the museum that they had reserved our favourite parking spaces on the left under the sign, that's thoughtful of them. Coffee, breakfast butties and relax as we all had a catch up in the cafe at the museum There were lots of Lotus but I personally didn't see one single Caterham, what are they trying to say to the organisers? We went on a lovely run out through the sunny countryside, @Tony H made me laugh when he said how he enjoyed it but hadn't got any clue where he had actually been, that's job satisfaction for me Tony👍 This is the bit where we don't mention ALDI 😁 we arrived at Thornbridge Brewery and it was rather more busy than expected, the Father's Day effect I think. We parked up Ordered the beer and pizza. I had the 0.5% alcohol Green Mountain Hazy Session IPA and it was very good indeed, I am changing my opinion of alcohol free beers, they are actually just like beer. A lot of chat over lunch about next Sunday when we set off on our Lakes and Dales Tour, the excitement is building and everyone is sooooooo looking forward to it. If you visit Bakewell anytime, pop in here it's worth a look A bit different and a really good day out, thanks everyone for coming1 point
