Just back for an overnighter on the Isle of Skye, enjoying the good weather and roads. Never been to the very North of the island before and the Outer Hebrides were almost in touching distance.

I used to work with a guy who bought a 1970s Jag because he 'wanted something reliable' (yes, I know...) One day I overheard him phoning round the local garages saying over and over again: "Hello. Would you pass a Jag with broken windscreen washers?" "No?" "Do you know anybody that would?"1 point

Honestly the pictures don't do it justice, especially the view over to the Hebrides from Flora Mac Donald's grave. I'm off to the Hebrides next month and hoping for the same weather1 point

Managed a nice long test drive this afternoon after fixing my air temp sensor which was giving me hot start problems. Beautiful day for it and I think the problem is fixed!
