Thanks all for the steers above - I’m going to try to get a set made to the existing samples - at least they should then fit - but may be a winter 25/26 project now for both cost & timing 🙏👍1 point

Just a reminder that if you have my bank details, can you pay your entry fees, please. I will PM the details to those that haven't been with us recently!1 point

And you might have a type 9 box in the mt75 chassis - so can’t go on that 🤣1 point

You do. There are different chassis for different gearboxes, so a Type 9 chassis has a narrow tunnel and wide footwells, while an MT75 chassis has a wider tunnel and one wide, one narrow footwell and SEiGHT and Mega S2000/Sport 250 chassis, (though not the same), have even wider tunnels and two narrow footwells. This width variation hits pretty much every piece in the carpet set, too, rear bulkhead included.1 point

Please note a change of date this month from Wednesday 23rd April to THURSDAY 24th April Location is same; The Halfway House Pub, Cullompton. Thanks1 point

Not 100% sure as I never bothered with carpets, but might need to say what width tunnel you have as that varied over the years 👍1 point

Thanks for the replies. I'm planning to come and watch next weekend. I always plan to attend more often but never seem to get a chance.1 point

Yeah, very true. I’ve driven the car both before and after the box was swapped; it was always a beautifully balanced Westfield, but while the MTC75 it had before was OK, the Tracsport box really transformed the driving experience for the better. Brilliant car for someone, and like @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO said, many happy moments have been spent exploring the twisty roads with @Greenstreak-Andy D at the helm, both in this country and in Europe, where it performed superbly. Really hope it stays in the Club, but whoever gets it will get a bargain and an absolute cracker of a car.1 point

Say hey, good lookin' - what ya got cookin'? Well it might be a Westfield and not a hot rod FORD but it sounds good. (Younger generation please google Hank Williams).Vicki @Steve Bosworth. We met at Quacker's cafe, it was freeeeezing and a bit cloudy but we were all glad to be out on a dry forecast. Car park. Jake, our photographer for the day, was taking some snazzy shots too. Inside Quacker's Cafe, nice and warm despite me suggesting we sit outside and Glen suggesting we didn't 😆 It's not the first time today we were all thanking Glen. Next we went on the run out, a route devised by Glen and what a cracker it was, thank you for the second time today, Glen 😍. A slight delay to the set off as Glynn had to change his shoes (not the stilleto's, that's this evening's club😮). Paul and Margaret were coming on the run and then disappearing early to get ready for a few months in Europe in the van, see you in June! We were booked in for lunch at The Bike and Boot, Hope Valley. A new build hotel for activity breaks and very welcoming to car clubs. Bike and Boot car park The menu is amazing, Glen had paella, not our usual kind of food Inside Bike and Boot We needed dessert after that so off we went to The Pavillion at Baslow and were greeted by the usual selection of sicklyness We sat outside and enjoyed our cakes in the warm sunshine We sit overlooking our beautiful cars. A man with a massive camera came over and asked if we raced them, we replied, 'No officer' 😁 The Pavillion Cafe overlooking the sports field and car park A brilliant day out, a good laugh, surprisingly quiet roads and establishments. Thanks for keeping the convoy together with all your excellent driving, it makes my life easier. Thank you to Glynn for guarding the rear of the convoy, also giving me peace of mind that everyone is looked after. See you all next time.1 point

Don't know, so far I've washed a car, cut the lawn, cleaned the waterfall, been for a 5 mile walk. Going to have a rest now.1 point
