  4. Unfinished project for sale, sadly due to bereavement. Westfield ZK SEiW. Red, cycle wings, detachable rear arches, sunburst sports seats, contoured dash, VDO instruments, weather gear. Kit purchased in 2004. 2.0 l Pinto on twin Weber 45’s, lightened and balanced crank, flywheel and clutch, new valves, gas flowed head. Type 9 gearbox, Sierra diff. The car is complete, has never been used on road or track, just needs tidying and a bit of fettling for IVA. To meet IVA it needs the fog light to comply with current regs, easy. Wide front indicators, £250 from Westfield, already fitted. Side repeaters on the cycle wings, already done. The rear fog and reverse lamps need to be vertical, easy mod. A rolling road session would be advisable to make sure it meets basic emission requirements. And IVA fees, £450, and £90 for a retest if it doesn't pass first time, not many do. Alternatively would make a nice track day car, but it's better than that. more pictures added. engine spec added. £5,750 Ono.

  6. I fitted some fancy led bulbs in my Dominators, made a huge difference but like @Naranja_Al I don't tend to drive at night. If I did often, I would want something better for sure.

  7. Yep, the wing is from the old race bodywork and exceedingly rare now.

  9. Following on from my birthday, I've now retired from work after 46 years of building buses. I went into work this morning for the embarrassing photos, more to come later.

  10. I don’t tend to drive at night very often, typically only after track evenings. I do need to try them at night though, I’ll let you know!

  14. Indeed, some of these older cars with the classic Ford engines don't seem to have been getting much love recently! But it's easy to forget the Crossflow, nicely tuned is probably one of THE most charismatic engines in a Westfield - on twin Webers, at full chat, the sound is like few other engines. Don't rule cars out, just cause they don't have a more modern looking 16 V motor in there.

  16. Green is just right, especially on the SEiGHT. I only use mine a handful of times a year at most, so am bound to sell sooner or later.

  17. Apologies if I’ve posted this elsewhere. I had wanted a table sign for our meets to make it easier for new members to identify us, so I 3D printed this. Someone then suggested lighting it up, so I did 🤪🤣. Just battery powered with some LED strips 👍. Must have too much time on my hands, thought it never feels like it!

  18. Hello all Just a few quick points before posting your For Sale ad, which will help everyone - and a point to buyers as well. To the seller Please do not post adverts on behalf of non-WSCC members, as this is against club rules and such adverts will be removed You may post an advert on behalf of another WSCC member if they are not computer literate and cannot do so themselves As there are occasional and sad circumstances where an existing or lapsed member is no longer able to post, you may also post an advert providing you have the OK from the committee Please include a price! Or as a minimum, a guide price on your advert, it's ok to say "or nearest offer" or to ask for offers in the region of a specified amounts. But adverts with no price at all may be removed by the moderation team. The selling of a vehicle log book without the associated chassis and/or sufficient parts necessary to be legally described as a genuine donor kit is prohibited. Any such ad will be deleted by the Moderation Team and the member warned Be prepared for fun and games if you decide to advertise your parts in other places such as auction or social media sites and please, if you do, make sure you say so in your advert Once an item has sold, it is your duty as the seller to communicate with the buyer quickly and efficiently, and to send / arrange collection of the item(s) sold as rapidly as possible. Please do not leave buyers in the dark - communicate with them, they can't read your mind. When you have successfully completed the sale, please edit your original post and topic title (using the "Use Full Editor" option) to indicate is has been "Sold!". It can be quite a let-down for excited people with money to spend to spot something for sale, only to read through a long thread and find out it's no longer available, as I'm sure you can appreciate. Marking it as "Sold!" is the polite thing to do! Thank you for your cooperation, and best of luck with your sale! To the buyer Do not post "dibs" or "first dibs" - this isn't primary school. If you want it, just make the effort and buy it. Posting up "dibs" can result in others turning away from the ad, and if the person who posted "dibs" then changes their mind, the seller has to start all over again. Any response post in the Parts For Sale section containing "dibs" may be deleted at the absolute discretion of the Moderation Team - you have been politely warned! Although we are good bunch with much integrity, please do remember the old adage of "buyer beware" Please do pay as soon as you can and within the limits agreed with the seller To ALL The WSCC holds no responsibility or accountability for parts bought and sold. The Club merely facilitates the advertising of such things as member benefit and does not provide a transactional service. Thank you...
