Retired. After 46 years of building buses I've retired. There're going to have to manage without me now. I was the longest serving employee at Optare (39 years) with 5 at Charles H Roe. I officially finish on the 31st and have to go back on the 20th for the embarrassing photos, I'll post them when it happens.9 points

Anyone looking for mapping or carburettor setup give AP RACING ENGINES a try. They mapped my omex ECU running omex ITB’s. The car now drives better than I ever expected. Link below of the last run. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1AMQWhr1xJ/?mibextid=wwXIfr3 points

A slightly eclectic mix here…. Have just ordered two new six point harnesses for my car so will have these going spare in a week or so. TRS four point harness TRS six point harness Both have the metal clip attachments on all belts so need eye bolts to connect to the chassis. The six point has pull up lap belt adjusters so can be a little awkward to adjust if the adjusters are below the seat slot. I normally leave these as they are and just tighten the shoulder belts which works fine. Can post better pics of the four point on Friday, so have included some shots being modelled by my daughter and me 🤣. £20 for the four point and £30 for the six, plus postage. Thanks, Stu1 point

Congratulations Robin and well deserved. Hope you have a long and enjoyable retirement and get to do anything you've been putting off. I find the best part is not having to ask anyone for a day off or book holidays, cause every day is a holiday. 😆1 point

Congrats! As a member of the retired community, I strongly suggest you keep that info to yourself and don’t tell family and friends. I told everyone, and now I’m working just as hard for no money because everyone knows I’m retired but wrongly think that not only do I have spare time (I don’t - because I’m constantly helping people), they also think I’m interested in helping them and that is definitely not always the case. So yes to retirement, no to telling people you’ve retired. Good luck!1 point
