Thank you to the brave souls that drove in minus 1 degrees to make our day today. @AndrewBClarke@Glynn Walters with us at Quacker's cafe car park
Thank you also to @Jakejmagee and Laura for bringing young Nova to meet us, she was an absolute cuuuuuutey
Quackers Cafe, lots of catching up to do and talk of starter motors and immobilisers, grrrrr, missing my Westfield, grrrrr.
Helping to replace the Bakewell Bridge Love Locks which will be rehoused here soon, watch the One Show, it's going to be on there
Next we went on the run out. It was minus 1 on the tops and it looked like someone had dusted the trees with icing sugar, lovely. I really don't think I could have gone any faster if I had been in the Westfield, so I didn't feel as bad as I thought in the MX5. With it being so cold I shortened the route and changed the venue, we went to the Manifold Inn for a beef dinner, yum.
It was lovely for us to see the Westfield's in the mirror and hearing the growl of the V8 and the whoosh of the Turbo, weirdly I could smell the cars and normally I can't, I guess because my nose is accustomed to it when we are in ours, so we still got ALL the senses set off. You did that and I thank you for it x
2 cold Westfield drivers, well done guys
This soon warmed us all up
The best bit, hot puddings for afters. 3 Christmas Puddings even, oh my! and Sticky Toffee for Glynn, yum yum
Suitably satisfied by giving the cars a lovely run out in the fresh air, us fed and watered, we said our goodbye's and headed home. I love how the other MX5's we passed waved at me, they always do round here, especially when you have the top down. Do you have a MX5? Does that happen in your area? It's great.
Not as great as being in the Westfield though, we will sort it out this week and be back to normal as soon as we can, Glen doesn't hang about, so thank you for supporting us x
