  2. I bought a second hand one to experiment with as it was cheaper than scraping one accidentally. I cut about 80mm off. Here is before and after. I always thought the indicator proportion to headlights was off

  3. Was a cracking drive out and shame it was not as busy as was expected. Great to meet up with AndrewBClarke and Bigfoot. I did think at one point that i was driving on the moon with all the craters in the road. The A1 home was smooth but a bit boring but got some more miles on the beast.

  8. Factory built (invoice available) first registered 2003, 5-speed box (LT77 I believe), LSD. Current mileage 12285, MOT (non-cat) due October 2024. Odyssey battery fitted 30/05/22 at 11500 miles (spare available). Just had oil and filter change at 12281 miles (previously at 10068 miles) and new clutch slave cylinder. I believe engine is from a TVR Chimaera and enjoys ACT carbon plenum chamber with enlarged trumpets and ports. Toyo Proxes all round (R888 front, new R888R rear. Rears fitted 14/9/21 at 10982 miles. Three-point inertia-reel seatbelts fitted now (so much easier day-to-day) but I still have the original Sabelt 4-point harnesses. Hood and sidescreens, perspex wind deflectors, Walker St Clair cockpit cover. Lowered floor for the taller driver, underslung rear exit s/steel exhausts, Ctek trickle charger hard-wired to battery. HPI checked at purchase, has been mine since July 2020. Dry use only in my hands (except when caught out in shower on 2 occasions). Reason for sale: I'm 72 now and can no longer take this car to the max. It needs somebody who can exploit it to the full. Glorious noise and I will miss it hugely. I have no hesitation in describing this car as being in excellent condition all-round. Local garage mechanics (who did oil and slave cylinder change last week) described it openly as "up together". Underfloor photos taken today (20/3/24) at their premises. This is a lovely car, lovely noise, masses of torque, that's why I bought it in the first place). Price £13500 o.n.o. 12. Beautiful weather for a drive out so enjoyed that bit 🤪. Attendance at GBS was not particularly good and was clearly adversely affected by Mothering Sunday and people having other things to do. Good to catch up with @Martin Bell - (Bellyboy) Joint East Anglia AOand @Bigfoot Shame Emma couldn’t make it 🤪 Summers coming!!

  15. We don't have many Westfield's at the Mallory Park Sprint, on 24th March, Sheffield and Halamshire like a lot of organisers of Events take a risk in putting them on. If it's not supported then they will not run it next year. So if you have been thinking about Entering please do it now. Thanks

  16. Just finished working on my roll bar covers. Fairly small pieces of CF but they reminded me of my build days and how nervous I get cutting up bits of bodywork! Not perfect but happy with the outcome. Before: After:

  17. Spookily, after copying your door idea, I also cleaned out gutters out Saturday just gone. I am also not great with heights but was a brave boy. Oddly enough i through a large lump of crud straight onto my wife’s head.

  18. Non Westfield related…. Hired a decent ladder and cleaned our guttering out. We are right on the A30 in Crewkerne, albeit in a 20mph zone which everyone ignores. Nobody seemed to want to take the job on, so me and the Mrs parked our cars infront of the house early on Sunday morning and I got it done. I’m not a great fan of heights so the knees were knocking a bit, but we had a few comedy moments when trying to manoeuvre the ladder, and I managed to splatter the Mrs with mud dropped from height which fortunately she took on the chin, almost literally 🤣.
