  1. Long, slow version at normal speed here: …and for those in with limited attention spans, the speeded up x4 version 🤣

  2. Well, it didn’t stay dry, but we had a good run up to Cheddar and back. I met Roger in Somerton, and we headed North past Glastonbury, Meare and on to Cheddar. The weather got worse as we went on, drizzly rain and then up in the clouds on top of the hills. We had a good run up through the gorge, not much other traffic around. The roads were quite slick but quite manageable. We took it steady, it was just good to be out and about. Roger was topless with a coat and looked quite happy, I had my half hood on and stayed nice and dry. I’m back in Yeovil in plenty of time to pick my daughter up, so this is an easily repeatable run if it happens to be my turn! I had the Insta 360 running, so I’ll see if there is anything decent on there and will post it up here and on FB.

  5. Owners have made their own variations of it, and had them made as one off's over the years, but no, there isn't a range of off-the-shelf models available, as far I know. (Part of the issue is the shear variation in Westfield tunnel widths, making it quite hard to cover all the bases, for a manufacturer. Then you have the variation in things like gear lever position and hand brake position, model to model.)

  8. I’m going to give this a go! Satellite looks ok, some rain over Ireland currently, loosely coming this way but I suspect that will die out before getting here. I’ll leave the roof and doors on anyway, might be greasy out there but will take it steadily. At very least, I’ll drop the short person in Yeovil then head up to Somerton to say hello to @Roger Goodliff. Hopefully we will then head up to Cheddar and loop back round again. All being well, we will be around Cheddar around 11.15 to 11.30.

  9. Hi guys We did this last year and it was a great show. Lots of stuff going on (as it is a country fayre) and north of 1200 cars to oggle at https://kimboltoncountryfayre.com/ I am waiting for a booking code from the organisers so we can share a club stand. Date is Sunday 14th July. Earlybird ticket booking is £13.50, normal price £15. This includes entry for you and your passenger (if you have one) Some screenshots below of the site plan and club list from last year to give you all an idea of the show size, venue and # clubs attending. Please let me know your intrest in coming so i can get an idea of numbers so we have an area suitable to fit us in 👍

  13. As I've hardly been out recently, I'd love to come along, so please reserve me a place! I drive past that place all the time, but I've never had the chance to stop in so I'm looking forward to it.
