  1. I ordered a couple of the sew on patches from 'Patcholand' having see this thread. Very good quality as mentioned and certainly improve my plain black seats I think.

  2. Another great evening of good company and lots of laughter last night. I had to be up at 430 this morning for a trip up to Lancashire so unusually the Westfield stayed in the garage, thankfully Steve didn't let the side down though! We love it when we get new people along, so it was great to meet Chris who is about to join the club and collects his first Westfield today from Toybox! Lovely to see you all as usual, hopefully we'll have a dry weekend and be able to get the cars out!😁

  4. Lovely little car and a great project for someone, but I still maintain that it will struggle to pull that caravan. I’ll get me coat….. 😜

  6. Tickets are now available for this year's L2B kit & sports car run, operated by Popup Car Shows. Its on Sunday 4th June, once again starting at Brooklands, and will be concurrent with the Classic Car Run and the Modern Classics Run, but all with subtly different routes. It was an enjoyable event last year when my wife and I took part for the first time, so I've already booked for this year and requested a 1000-1030 start time (it could be anywhere between 0830 and 1130). Anyone else thinking of taking part? More info here: https://www.popupcarshows.co.uk/

  7. You could wrap it and use paint protection film in the vulnerable areas.

  10. This build was completed just 2 years ago to a high standard. It has a huge build file from the builder and I have been in contact with the builder. He explained that he prefers the build process to using them, hence he sold it soon after IVA and registration. The next owner spent some money on the car converting it to more of a road spec. He put a full screen in, a header, added carpets and upgraded the seats. The next owner seems to have basically put new team dynamics wheels and tyres on then parked it in a dehumidifier garage and never used it. It's now on about 700 miles and I've done 300 of those in the last 6 months. I've had it mapped on a dyno by Page Motorsport it is putting out a healthy 163hp, is very smooth and drivable throughout the whole rev range. I have contacted who I believe are the engine builders and this is the potential spec of the engine: NB: The engine management is OMEX, wasted spark ign and Hayabusa throttle bodies. The dyno session confirms it has cams in it as the tuner said that it would not be making the power it does on standard cams. There may be more in it too with the right exhaust as the power tails off at around 6k revs and the engine could be good for another 1500 revs. We focused on a usable road tune, concentrated on good usable torque and nice transitions on and off the throttle. It now drives really nice and since it’s an early engine it does not need cats so you get the added benefit of the pops and bangs on the overrun. Some highlights: AVO height and damping adjustable shocks all round Polly bushed all round and rose jointed rear suspension Green stuff pads Large radiator Full sized battery Registered on 20 plate with V5 in my name The rest of the car is really nice, some nice quality parts used throughout and the majority are new. I'm looking to get my money back so want £15,000 for it. Mob: 07397187622 Any questions, get in touch. Thanks Dave
