Yep, quite a few of us not too far away, and in Macclesfield, you're right on the door step of the Peak District...2 points

I'm not too far away either and would be around for the meet up (although the Westy will be on SORN in December).2 points

I'm about 45 mins (20 miles) south of Macclesfield in Stoke-on-Trent. I'm often into the Peaks chasing cake with @Julie Hall - Joint Peak District AO and others. Let's see if we can find away to take you with us. Please get back in touch closer to. We may have our Cheshire Christmas Curry around that time too ( @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary I hope one's likely this year!), so that would be a great opportunity to meet us all too! Best regards, Ian2 points

Hi all, I know it is a bit of a long shot but I'll be in Macclesfield around the second weekend of December, and I thought about taking this opportunity to meet some of the WSCC members, so I can associate faces to forum nicknames and maybe have a blast in some fast westies I'll be flying over from Italy, so I'll be car-less. Thanks1 point

Looking at the results it looks like Terry Everall cannot be caught with only this weekend's event at Anglesey to go if my maths are correct. Congratulations Terry !!!!1 point

Well done Terry. Very much deserved, after all the effort you have put in over the years, not only towards your own success but also towards the success of the Speed Series as a whole.1 point

Everyone should pay the same* for kits unless a mistake has been made when registering. There are only two key prices, (other than six month or monthly options, and card surcharges, ) Kits are counted as PLG vehicles, with rates of: Under 1549cc £170 for twelve months Over 1549cc £280 for twelve months. And that’s it. It does get more complicated with different payment types, and for six months etc. So full table is here: https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax-rate-tables/rates-for-cars-and-light-goods-vehicles-registered-before-1-march-20011 point

My first track experience was a success. I had no car issues and even more surprisingly...... No driver issues either. Big Thanks to@Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO for organising the event and letting a newbie like me attend. Also thanks to @NigelO for the pictures (the first lineup picture is my dodgy work)1 point

yeah its a tricky one - slowest car on the road navigating the bumps, and always worried as the sump is the lowest point. So far i've managed to not do any damage by keeping the centre of the car away from the highest point of the bump - and of course find routes out with minimum speed bumps! Definitely something you pay attention to more compared to a standard car!1 point

I owned VTL from 1982 till 2010. It’s what started it all. So pleased that you guys just love your cars1 point
