Oooo, that's @AndrewBClarke, @aeg and @Andy Westwood, the 3 Andy's are coming, does that mean we must have the Great British CAKE off? Most car clubs have a bit of rivalry over who has the biggest bhp, here in the Peak District this lot get jealous over who has the biggest slice of cake. Apparently you have the advantage if your name is Andy. So will it be Andy Westwood, who is the favourite, aeg who is the young pretender or will ABC sneak in under the radar to claim the title?5 points

Just bought a Triumph Thruxton R, 2 years old with 6miles on clock, Poor guy that bought it brand new had it delivered and had severe back issues and never got the chance to even do a quick burl round the block, Dealership bought it back, Ive always liked the look of these, A few month ago my dad (75 years old) bought a 2014 Bonneville and after a quick blast i just couldnt resist, Handling way exceeded my expectations, Was a spur of the moment buy and im well happy, Ive only done around 100miles but luv the thing, Mods started already 😀 Think this ones going to be a keeper, Anyone on here have or had one?4 points

Info will be emailed out to everyone tomorrow (Monday 5th). It’s a simple format here, so don’t worry! one signature, pay by card at the same time, one briefing, one wrist band and away you go! As has been mentioned, camping welcome the night before, close the gates behind you if you are late arriving. we will attempt to get everyone parked up as per the event plan and for those only doing the Friday we will mark out the best spot for you to be out of the way of the sprint competitors turning up.4 points

Hi , im new to this and have a few questions , be blunt no offence taken ! Do I just go ahead and book as a camping kit car driver or do I book in association with the club? Is there opportunity to put car on WSCC display stand? is there any help needed as I’m going alone and I’m happy to help set up and/or be present on the stand through out weekend? thanks rich3 points

The Stoneleigh show is the 28th and 29th August. After last year’s show was cancelled, this is an opportunity to get together, meet old friends and enjoy the best kit car show in the country. Our stand will be as good as ever, with some slight changes. Our marquee supplier has gone out of business, so we will have a smaller, more affordable marquee. Tea and coffee and cake will still be provided, but no hog roast this year. Overnight camping is available as always. Westfield Sports Cars will have a stand in one of the halls, always good to have a chat with the factory and they usually bring along parts at discounted prices, just as a temptation. So the date for your diary is 28th and 29th August, see you there. John.2 points

Didn’t get finished in the workshop until 7:30pm, so emails done this evening, anyone not received one, please let me know. Likewise if there’s any more interest we have a few spaces left.2 points

No idea. Can not even find a setting where this is controlled Cos there is no setting. Have had to amend the template and change it there. Should now display the normal count again.2 points

Normally what happens is once the organisers have sorted everything they will post a thread on the forum asking for help. This will include things like camping etc. your help will be appreciated. 👍🏻2 points

After a brief return last year (after setting my loom on fire) I'm back again to try and get an 18 year old build that has been laying stagnant in my garage over the line. Pretty sure it's close to finished ( with a million snags ), but lack of mechanical ability/know-how (and some bad build decision) is making the last hurdle difficult.. Any opinions/advice/encouragement is appreciated!1 point

Hi ,we’ll be there 😜 but as @Andy Westwoodhas told you about chase waters Ironman there is also one at Yoxall and Kings Bromley so a section of the A515 is closed, so us Southerners will have to look at a map to route plan around them , take care see you soon Andy & Becky1 point

Great - the earlier the better from past experience - just depends on how many turn up. I've seen around 100 cars there before so it is possible they run out of room and you cannot get a space on the quay - admittedly unlikely though. Regards, Mart.1 point

BTW @Quinten Uijldert - Webmaster I like where you’ve positioned the profile details now at the bottom left - looks better. Nice one. 👍1 point

One of the great things about Stoneleigh is that there is enough space for everyone to show up in their Westfield and show them off with all the others, demonstrating the wide variety, styles and equipment in each so don’t worry, bring it along, the more the merrier! Nice car BTW 👍1 point
