  1. Hello all, With real enthusiasm & a little nervousness, together with my son we begin a Westfield Kit car experience. Unlike the colour of my Westfield, a Zetec FW, I am actually “Green.” No mechanical experience, limited tools & Just a lifelong desire for ownership. I would like ownership overtime to provide many experiences including, social events, track days, car care / car maintenance & very much welcome the interaction & knowledge base membership of WSCC brings. Currently I am exploring all things Westfield both on the car & via the WSCC website & will be reaching out locally over the coming days to experience those entertaining drives out! Car owned for six weeks now, looking forward to a very different social calendar in 2021 Membership number derived from Initials & an important Locomotive. Kindest regards to you all. Speak soon!

  5. Yesterday we checked out of our hotel in Phuket. At the check out desk there were two pots, one marked sterile pens, one marked used pens, so when you signed anything, you took a 'clean' pen and when you've done you place it in the used pen pot, so avoiding cross contamination, of course there were the usual clear acrylic screens and everyone was wearing masks, if you went to the bar or to one of the restaurants your temperature was checked. At the airport you had to scan in a QR code for track and trace, and had your temp taken. One of the passengers on our flight went a bit OTT with the PPE When we arrived in Pattaya I nipped out to the local corner shop, a 7-11, for a bottle of milk so we could make a brew. I was only going to be in the shop for two minutes, Temp taken, sign in with phone number and scan a QR code, of course all while wearing a mask all the time. Can you imagine all this happening in the UK at the corner shop when all you want is a packet of fags or a bottle of milk? All the hassall getting here was worth it, and we are settled in now for the long haul. Alfresco breakfast anyone?

  11. Welcome, I'm not far away in Swadlincote (originally from the Polesworth area but don't hold it against me, I'm not that bad! 😂). Lovely looking car. I'm another Toybox owner, hopefully we'll see you on a run out when we're allowed 👍

  12. Welcome. Do I spot a ToyBox car? Brilliant. Few other members live in your area including @Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO and great trips out when Boris allows us in the Peaks organised by @Julie Hall - Peak District AO Look forward to meeting you and above all enjoy your car. They, and the members, are brilliant.

  15. Where there are cows there is poo so it's good to see you are keeping up the Peak District tradition of driving through it😃 Your trip looks just amazing and what a house to live in too, I could do some damage to the still water in the swimming pool😃
