  1. I know it's going to be a bit "Marmite", but I needed to replace the seats after my big brother managed to split one. I got in touch with Neil at Kit Cars Direct and asked him the leadtime on a pair. "I've got two orange seats you could have today" and he's never seen my car. Couldn't resist.

  3. I have for sale a Suzuki GSXR 1000 K6 engine package for sale. Bought as a spare for the Jedi but never used. It came from a bike which I saw running before it was removed and had no rattles or blue smoke when run. Includes the loom, Ecu , throttle boddies, bike clocks oil cooler etc. It is still as it was when removed so needs a clean up but other than that an ideal package as a spare or BEC conversion. For the asking price I can include a shallow wet sump also. A dry sump could also be available by separate negotiation. Located in Blackpool. £2100:00

  5. Due to open in April 2020, a new car museum is being built in Derbyshire, it is located approx a 15 minute drive South of where we meet for the Peak District runs in Matlock. It will include a display of 100 cars and there will be a 'Drive Dad's Car' driving experience along a mile long route. The exhibition will be called 'The Great British Car Journey - when Britain ruled the road' A decked seating area will overlook the river Derwent and there will be a cafe, gift shop and workshop on site, with parking provided for 65 cars. I will be proud to take my British Westfield to this place. Glen hopes there will be a Westfield included in the driving experience and he might actually get to drive one!!!

  6. Interesting that the game with big butch men in shorts has been cancelled but the F1 hasn’t. At least with this trip now on Saturday, I can watch Lewis Hamilton getting nearer to being a 6x world champion on Sunday!!

  16. Please note that at the Dinner we will be holding a raffle/auction to raise money for the "MAKE A WISH" foundation which creates life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. I would therefore appreciate and prizes people might donate such as chocs, wine, vouchers, toiletries or anything else appropriate. To see what the foundation does you can visit https://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/about-us/what-we-do/ Please get them to me or hand them over at the start of the evening. Let's hope we can raise a lot for this worthy cause.

  17. Is it not more the cows rather than the farmers? Or do the farmers do monster turds on the roads down in Wales?

  20. Decided to have a go at putting some stripes on my car, did it over a couple rainy days, so had a spin out yesterday to test them. They seem to work, either that or it was the effect of cold air, dry roads and being cooped up for a couple of days. Gary

  21. Sounds like fun Ian! The reason for my suggestion is that people can either fail to read all the threads or be geographically ignorant, so a map with pins is the proverbial picture that paints a thousand words and assists with impulse ideas. It's not meant to be used as a sat nav aid. It's a bit like the local area map showing the local area meets, so members can see where all the meets are and encourage them to go to other ones, not just their own. Anyway, it's just an idea, adopt it or drown it as you wish.
