  2. A cracking weekend on our mini YDG in mid Wales, we found some good roads, had great company and just had a good time, you could say we had the life of Riley some photos from Saturday.

  3. I'm tall and use an aeroscreen and found that I needed to add a small extension to the screen to limit the buffeting. I experimented with cardboard and came up with the final height and shape that gave the best protection. I made a clear plexiglass extension that you can see in the photo if you look closely. I know that if I could move the screen back and closer to my head that it would work better (like you if I move my head forward i get cleaner air) but that's not realistic. Mine now works very well for me as long there's not a strong wind blowing from the driver's side of the car - if that is the case I get more buffeting than I'd like. dave

  7. Left at 5.45 this morning 2degrees and scraped the ice off the windscreen. Picked Sammy up and just rocked up here at Powmill milk bar 8.55 lol A tad chilly on the way down , waiting for others then onto knockhill for super lap Scotland and Westfield speed series And the suns out now. So a brilliant day out at knockhill to watch superlap Scotland and the Westfield speed series with David , Bob and sammy picked up my daughter at 5.45 and home at 10.00 and 300 miles lol Some great sprinting and absolutely brilliant to meet up with the lads

  12. Mine is fine with a helmet (bike and car versions) - never any buffering even at 100+ on track. I always wear a helmet, have JK’s, lowered floor and Carbon-NV screen. I adjusted the screen angle to suit my height.

  18. It was a well attended event with a huge variety of cars. Didn’t take many photos myself but I did get in the way of a lot of Dave’s 😛 There was a lovely Mk 1 Escort rally car with a super tidy Twin Cam in the shop:

  21. Santa Pod isn't can't really be classed as southern England which is also good 150 mile trip for me and Three Sisters is 250 miles or more. For me it's not so much the distance but the time it takes to get there and home again which would spoil a great day and it's not practical to stay overnight.

  22. @markat Haynes breakfast club 1st Sunday every month. Bit of a hike for you though I guess! Believe another one starting at Froginwell vineyard just East of Exeter at Woodburn Salterton. Think they want £5 just for the pleasure of driving into a field though!
