  2. This year is the 20th yer of the FW400 model and I am after anyone out there who has one. The club is hoping to have a parade lap at the Silverstone classic and it would be nice to have one lead the parade. Also, If one was available we could do with one in the marquee at the Stoneleigh Kit car show to display for either or both days. So, shout up or PM me if you wish. You only get one 20th birthday.

  7. I think you know how that conversation would go with Tamsin! The CBA for the Business Case is weak...”It’s already got a bonnet...”

  13. Yes, something like this https://www.halfords.com/motoring/bulbs-blades-batteries/car-bulbs/501-blue-led-car-bulb-halfords-essentials-twin-pack?istCompanyId=b8708c57-7a02-4cf6-b2c0-dc36b54a327e&istItemId=-awmapqatr&istBid=t&_$ja=tsid:94971|cid:1341111785|agid:57838006070|tid:pla-327722804350|crid:261734680760|nw:g|rnd:10601800787063305063|dvc:m|adp:1o9|mt:|loc:9045016&gclid=CjwKCAiAyrXiBRAjEiwATI95mdEZWFhmOe8kfr_7ds3WU0ChKBUFZaL6451t329SF45Y8KLb6s3WXhoCOvAQAvD_BwE there are plenty like this on eBay as well and in different colours if you want. I fitted blue ones. Doesn’t matter if they are canbus friendly or not but you do need to buy the short ones as in my link above.

  14. I'd put a decent (Pegler) ball valve inside the house anyway, and turn it off with the end tap open when frost is expected. If you prepare for it to freeze, it won't matter when it does.

  15. I’ve used Dollar a few times and the last twice had a Camaro, 1st time I picked up a bright yellow SS but their usual stock is the RS models. The SS was tremendous. Mustangs are 10 a penny and Challengers are quite rare from the regular rental company’s. I’ve also had a Chrysler 300, Ford Crown Victoria and a couple of Chargers. I’ll ask about as one of my mates goes out to California loads and is into his Challengers.

  16. Looks well made Mike. if you need any help with the programming side of things let me know. as you know i have a bit of experience with cnc's

  17. Finished, all the motors are working, seems like good value for total cost of £400 approx, including the CNC controller that just hooks up to a laptop with the USB lead. It should be perfect for machining the small plastic electronics cases that I play around with.

  18. Let me correct that for you Robin, some of us had Yorkshire Puddings with our all you can eat breakfast @Rickyboy100 So now you really have seen it all. Thank you Robin for having a meet conveniently on a Sunday and next to the motorway, it's been great to meet you and the Yorkshire crew again. Her with her camera has been busy photographing everything in sight, brace yourself for the Motley Crue one up next. Robin and Simon entertained us with the snazzy Westfields Avoiding low bridges, important that in a Westfield Robin nearly got a dog as a passenger 2nd car park of the day Glen and I didn't go straight home, as we never do, and called in the Dog and Partridge on the Woodhead Road to see if it was suitable for a joint Manchester/Yorkshire/Peak District meet in the summer. @Paul Hurdsfield @Dave (OnliestSmeg) - Manchester AO The pub was good, car park was big and views were far reaching so it gets my vote. The car park Toasty inside, but I do mean for us all to meet up in the summertime The pub Thanks again Robin and everyone for making a great morning.

  19. Or you can print an sticker of your favourite brand, stick it to your battery and have your battery discretely covered so it doesn't raises any concerns.
