  1. Personally I wouldn't put a 7 badge on anything other than a Caterham or a lotus. I drive a Westfield and am proud to say I do so their's is the badge I have on the front of my car

  2. Paul Hurdsfield has done it again another fantastic write up! As you probably know I'm **** with the written word and I find write ups the most painful part of the AO role and without his support Manchester probably wouldn't have a write up. So I would like to thank you publically and its really appreciated by me and the members. So have another Vodka Martini with the knowledge we love you. Panda Hug. John

  6. I've seen a few Westfields with them on, the neatest of them, (that didn't have welded on mounting tabs), was lock-wired in place - the wire was much thinner than cable ties, and less obvious. The owners had to be very thick skinned though, cause as far as I can tell, they all used to get the Mickey taken mercilessly by other Westfield owners. (And one lad caught a rather loud and slightly tipsy Caterham owner trying to cut the cable ties off and remove it at a Capesthorne show, many years ago!)

  8. Now a fully fledged Westfield owner.... Sport 2000fw in postbox red. Many thanks for all the advice and help, looking forward to getting lots of driving in over the great british winter and plenty more in the summer. Ben

  9. We own a 2.2turbo diesel Outlander, 57 plate. Build quality not the best tbh. I have replaced some trim plastics as the clip holding them on breaks too easy! Our 5 year old managed to get his foot to it somehow! Depending how long u intend to keep it, underbody corrosion was mentioned at MOT earlier in year. Little if any under seal applied at manufacture. Just my experience, things may have improved now Lucky to see much more than 30mpg, which is mainly town driving by my good lady! Andy
