  1. Ford fitment originally intended to be used on a Westfield SEiW. - 4 x Diamond Racing wheels - 6 x 13 with 13mm off set (3.5" back space). Steel, powder-coated silver with wheel nuts and valves. Excellent condition having only been used for 3 trackdays and a few autocross events. They are also surprisinly light - 11.5kg / wheel. - 2 x Diamond Racing wheels - 7 x 13 with 25mm off set (4.5" back space). Steel, powder-coated silver and fitted with valves. These wheels have never been used – fitted the tyres but never used them. The 6” wheels have Hoosier R45 slicks on, the 7” have formula continental front slicks on, they have been stored for a few years now though so are probably rock solid. I’m after £150 for the lot. Buyer collects from Banbury or Carlisle. Delivery in between may be possible PM me on here or drop me an email at Nicrutherford at hotmail . com, pictures available on request. These are nice wheels and a good buy for someone. Selling them to make way for my newest project. Ta Nic

  2. Never really fretted about the self centering although I must admit I was somewhat bemused by the fact that I didn't seem to have any at all on early test drives. TBH, I did the square root of FA about it. At the IVA test the tester commented that the self centring "seemed to be fine" when he was driving it around, but I suspect that he knew that there wasn't going to be any and turned a discrete blind eye. Any car this light is going to find it hard to make the grade and I bet he'd seen loads of them struggle to achieve any hint of self centring, despite being perfectly safe and driveable vehicles. Turn up on the day, Dommo, and be pleasantly surprised as it sails through!

  3. I think he is wrong. The speed limit has nothing to do with the ability of the drivers. If the ability is lacking we should deal with that not try to pander to a lowest common dinominator. This is what is wrong with society in this country, everything from driving to TV has gone down to pander to the inept and those who are unable to reach a normal standard of intellect and behaviour. The economy is disadvantaged by the current speed limit which is the only reason the Tories want to raise it to what is in effect the default speed anyway. The problems arise when the middle lane moron sticks there as no one ever pulls them over and tells them. And don't get me started on the 4 lane sections where they still sit in the next to outside lane.

  4. "Add to that overtaking on the inside.." That should be impossible!! Always assuming people realise we drive on the left hand side of the road, not on the right except when overtaking, and not stuck in the middle lane regardless of what other traffic is on the road at the same time. In Norman's case that should be driving on the right hand side of the road of course!!

  5. As above, you don't need another person with the knowledge the current chaps have. You need a part time person to answer emails and phone messages with the info given by Gavin & Ross. It would appear to me that the biggest complaint is the lack of response rather than the lack of stock. In a few weeks a part time, "sensible" retired person could be chasing suppliers and answering 98% of inquiries.

  6. Sadly, correct on both counts.
