Havent seen much in car posted this year, but thought I'd post my run from Shelsley this weekend. Glad I hadn't see the Caterham off beforehand.

And politicians not investigating bankers? Of course, I'd trust them I had to go to Barclay's today. After PPI mis-selling (clearly in error), interest rate swap mis-selling (obviously in the clients' best interest really), and LIBOR manipulation (apparently unknown at the top ), I counted the money they gave me twice to make sure that no "commission" had been taken!! Come back SocGen -- to dim to fleece deliberately IIRC.

Whilst not as bad as the UK we've had a bad summer so far. Normally May is flat cloud and 17c. Then on the last day of May/1st day of June we awaken to clear blue skies and 27c. It gets hotter as the month goes on then settles down to a nice 25 +/- 3c and clear blue skies. This goes on until October. We may get a day with a shower in this 5 month period. However this year we've had a few nice days, but none without some cloud and most days it's like May, low flat cloud and no sun. I think it was like this last year but, to be honest, I had other things to worry about than the weather. The bible talks about 7 years feast and 7 years famine so I guess we're in the latter period. Anyway, cheer up, at least you can't get sunburn. May turn rusty though

Welcome.... An Orange car with a CVH, hummmm sounds like a man with good taste :-) Zetec will be a far cheaper conversion than a Duratec, but don't underestimate the little cvh, some have seen 160bhp out of a 1.6 with some head work, cam and solid lifters. I'm using a 2ltr bottom end from Ferriday in mine, and it pops along quite nicely.

bargain! for anyone interested this is a cracking car, with a great spec for not a lot of money.
