potster Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I owned it up until July this year. Then "The Irv" a forum member bought it from me. What info are you looking for?
Gazza Posted November 7, 2005 Author Posted November 7, 2005 Result! I was just looking for the mechanical spec, specifically to see whether it had any nice Quaife parts tucked away underneath (5-spd SC/CR?), plus the exact spec of the engine and its builder. Any other nice upgrade parts fitted? Also it would have been interesting to know if the front carb was badly damaged, plus radiator header melted? Any further detail is probably better swapped off-line. Regards Gary
potster Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Standard 5 speed box, live axel (not LSD) The engine was really nice, built by a company in Nottingham (nottingham sports cars or something similair, they specialised in builting engines for competition) 1700Xflow, twin 40's supersprint parts through out - flywheel, cam etc. Made 120BHP ATWs. The rest of the car was in great condition too. Can't advise on the condition of the car after the fire though. Let me know if you want anymore info. Cheers Stuart

Notanumber Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Hi I am trying trace the history of my car, N455 PCN and came across this an old thread, from 2005 see above on the subject. When I try to open the link, (it copies as http://boardroom.wscc.co.uk/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=1;t=32029;st=0), I get a not found message. Any ideas would be appreciated. Cheers Bob
