tolf
Why advertise on here if you then sell on Facebook?? That's not in the club spirit Banned ? Interesting thought
Rednop1
I didn't realise that if you advertise something on here that you were restricted from listing it somewhere else as I have seen lots of other people and friends advertise parts and cars for sale on here and at the same time advertise them on other well known forums and selling websites and facebook. if it is the case where you can only advertise your items here could a members of the committee please clarify this point. If the committee feel that a ban is in order due to my actions not being in the "club sprit" could a member of the committee please contact me direct via pm Please Cars, parts, money do they mean anything in the grand scheme of things? I watched a program last night on the Tv and it really makes you think how lucky we are in life and life can change at any moment so cars, parts, money, carbon and so on its nothing if you don't have your health . if anybody feels hard done to by my actions get a grip and google "alex lewis" or watch the program and realise how lucky we are. thanks and good night
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Trying to prevent members advertising goods elsewhere would be utterly unpolicable, and not, i strongly believe in the best interests of members - are we to prevent members from even discussing parts for sale at local meets? There is no problem with advertising goods elsewhere, all we DO ask, is that once a seller has sold something, amend the topic title to say sold. It helps stop members getting all excited, thinking that they might have found the unicorn, when in fact it's already gone, and helps stop frustration spilling over on to the threads. Never mind, tis the way of things, I've no problem with it.
