Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
Hello. My girlfriend can no longer join me for the second week of our Scotland trip as she now has to return home for work. I have paid for one room in Durness with two single beds including breakfast for the 4th and 5th of June. I am just wondering if anyone would like to join me in their Westie for the two days in Durness. It seems a shame to waste the bed and the breakfast plus it would be a spot of company. I would prefer a non smoker please. If you want to pay for my tea then I won't say no. This is where we will be staying. http://www.hillside-durness.co.uk This is the route I will now be taking on the 4th from Portree, to Inverness and back over to Strathcarron before heading up north. This is my planned route on the first day. I will then be travelling back down the West coat towards Ullapool before heading over to Killin for my final three nights. Here is the link to my Scotland trip. http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic/116795-geoffreys-jaunt-west-coast-of-scotland-tour-june-2016/

David-hrv
I'll be seeing you for part of your route on Saturday Geoffrey and if I could, I would continue all the way to Durness and stay over, but I have to be back home Saturday night. On Sunday, I have to be up bright and early to travel down to Crieff in the tintop for a Jaguar meet and drive. I'll then be meeting you again on Tuesday in the Westfield at Dunnottar Castle. Hope you won't be too lonely in Durness. If you can catch a Haggis, they are known to keep you warm in bed and they are really good company after a few drinks (so I am told!)
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
Hahaha. Tried to catch a haggis yesterday. He was bounding away and i got the net over his body but not his legs. Seanad told me today that the problem is that the haggis have longer legs on one side and this allows them to run sideways along the hills. It will be great to catch up from last year at the weekend so roll on Saturday. Don't forget the factor 600 sun cream.
