Stoneleigh 2015 Interior Volunteering Information

 

Show Dates: Sunday 3^rd & 4^th May 2015

 

Set-Up Day: Saturday 2^nd May 2015

 

 

This is an “INFORMATION ONLY” thread which will remain locked but we will be updating as necessary

 

 

May Day bank Holiday heralds in the Stoneleigh show and the WSCC Stoneleigh show organisers need YOUR help.

 

Your show organiser for the interior this year is:

 

• Marcus Saich aka Midlife Crisis – Hall2

 

Main Interior Club Stand in Hall2

 

We will have the usual area this year in Hall 2 and we would like to put on a display of Westfield Motorsport cars to compliment the WSCC sponsors who will be on this stand.

 

This year we would like to have cars on display from a cross section of all the Speed Series classes/motorsport classes. If you competed in the WSCC Speed Series or another motorsport discipline (BARC Westfield championship for example) and would like to display your car at Stoneleigh over the Show weekend please eMail: stoneleigh@wscc.co.uk with full details of your car and your availability.

 

Please entitle your email “Stoneleigh Interior Competition Display Car” and state if you are willing to volunteer your time to stay with your car, on what days and times.

 

Additional Club Stand (Stand 2)

 

We have also secured additional space in Hall 2 opposite our main stand and would like to put on a walk around display. By this we mean that we would like to have on display the landmark models of Westfields from the beginning of the marque to the present day that you the WSCC club members own and are proud to display.

 

We hope that out there somewhere we have the following cars that you guys are willing to display.

 

• Eleven (Original or Latter model)
• Pre-lit aluminium bodied
• Pre-lit GRP bodied.
• SEi / SE (Narrow)
• SEiW / SEW (wide bodied)
• Megablade / Megabusa
• FW400
• Sierra SDV
• Cosworth powered
• Mazda SDV
• Seight (V8 Power)
• XTR 2 / 4
• Duratec
• S2000
• Sport Turbo
• Anything really well used (don’t wash it before the show)

 

If you have one of the above cars (or another “interesting” Westfield) and would like to display it at Stoneleigh please eMail: stoneleigh@wscc.co.uk with full details of your car and your availability.

Don’t be put off if your car isn’t the best example of the marque, we are aiming to show the production history of Westfield through the cars on display and good “used” examples are as valid as the out and out show stoppers.

 

Now, before you drop us an email volunteering your car please read the next bit carefully…

 

• Your car will need to be in position on the display by 5pm on Saturday 2^nd May 2015 and will not be able to be moved out of Hall 2 until (officially) 5pm on Monday 6^th May 2015. (We may have an opportunity move cars about at close of show Sunday and before the show opens on Monday but the show organisers do not really like doing this – health and safety / security and all that)
• Hall 2 is locked down by 6pm on the Saturday and Sunday and Stoneleigh have their own security who patrol the halls out of hours so your car will be safe and secure at all times
