Yet more iPhone questions. Resolved.
Richard (OldStager) replied to Richard (OldStager)'s topic in Stuff & Nonsense
Thanks, I took a load more today whilst in the driveway and when I came in later in the evening, all the pics were online already, as I said it must have been some backlog or sync issue , but I haven't changed anything either on the iCloud thing or the phone. It just works now - most odd. - Yesterday

Yet more iPhone questions. Resolved.
Blatman replied to Richard (OldStager)'s topic in Stuff & Nonsense
I usually start by clearing the cache of apps that aren't working correctly. The "gallery" on a phone is just an app that gives access to storage and back-up. Try clearing the cache and then open the gallery and tap "back up now" or whatever the iPhone equivalent is. -
Starmer wants to lower the voting age- a good idea ?.

And I just remembered, the option to show contempt for the politicos alrady exists. Spoil your ballot. The number of spoiled ballots is actually read out and logged/registered. https://votingcounts.org.uk/spoilt-ballot -

Carbon Fibre V8 Wide Bonnet This has been previously damaged and repaired. I believe it was backed over on the driveway. The air filter hole has been blanked off but needs finishing. It would either need to be painted or wrapped. Or you could re-skin the whole bonnet. It's still very light. I don't have anything to weigh it accurately, but it's about 1900g according to my kitchen scales. £300.00 ono Collection only. Located in Kirkham, Lancashire

@Graham Harvey I am not an advocate of end users using potions in fuel or any so called device you "pop" in your tank. You are more than welcome to try it however, and report back on the results. Unless this stabiliser somehow neutralises the alcohol to the point it will no longer absorb water of course, however if that is the case what has now happened to the octane rating of the fuel you are now left with ?. The ethanol is being used as a booster with this E fuel, you can quite easily remove the ethanol before putting it in your tank but its a messy process, however if you do you will need to replace that with a octane enhancing potion. The best ( and least expensive ) option is to not leave fuel in the carbs in the first place, and either run your tank dry or as near to as you can. -
Damian usually quotes wheel bhp - if that’s the case this car will be rapid! 😍

Brilliant thank you so much for the advice!! Have you ever used fuel stabiliser? Does that help at all? -

I was just thinking that going down this road or “Abstain” as I earlier posted, while the right way to go, would result in a few people changing their names to None Of The Above, Nun Of The Above (while campaigning dressed as a nun), A B Stain or Abby Stain. -
