It's not gone anywhere, just a bit far as it's motorways all the way from Leeds, or about an 8 hour journey without.

    Any Stargazers Here?

Been quiet on here for a while, probably the rubbish weather! I popped my solar scope out at lunchtime and had some decent views today, nice to be out again. Will have a look at Jupiter tonight as the Great Red Spot will be visible at around 9pm.

More bits for the XI... Handbrake lever with bracket for warning switch. Needs to be loosened off somewhat.... Handbrake switch. Handbrake mounting bracket. Couldn't be bothered to de-rust and repaint the one I have for the price of a new one... Mounting screws. Existing ones are very chewed and may need drilling out....

I missed it last year so hopefully should be there for the weekend this year.
  17. Thanks for the info Chris - always nice to know what I'm working with! It did need some port matching, something which wasn't done on Dunnell manifold so will be interesting to see what it looks like after a map and arolling road session.
  18. Yep that’s a Silvertop cam cover coated red Good news is that the manifold will actually fit a Silvertop and/or a Blacktop. The manifold may need a bit of port matching to make the most of the blacktop head though.

That's one way, the CAN units also broadcast battery voltage but also the transmitter LED turns red when it's low. Otherwise you can measure voltage with a multimeter across the terminals in situ. But unless you have a button pressed on, the battery should last 10 years in a Westie

Cheddar Gorge and West Bay run out

Quite a few around here. Devon and Somerset group meet in Cullompton but Dorset meet in Bridport which would suit you better. I’m planning a bit of a run around down to Portland Bill and back via Sherborne for a BBQ at mine, likely in September which you are welcome to join. I can add you to our WhatsApp group too so you know if anyone is heading out. Adge has a similar one for Dorset.
