I'll work something out, If you're coming from Manchester I can meet up. Hopefully I'll have a mot by then. -
Does anyone know what the "flat" style Lucas lens was used on? I'm referring to one that fits on the same base as the beehive lens, like on a bugeye sprite Somewhere, I've seen some that only protrude about 1/2" Were they a Landy item? edit...red ones are available for XK-120, but I want amber

Do you have a picture of the fw stuff?

What time would you be thinking of getting there for? Would you meet somewhere first close by and convoy in together? -
Hi Al, I'd like to take them please. Can collect or arrange to meet somewhere as I'm in Loughborough. Cheers Howard

Thanks Ian. I have thought about extracting the offending bolt and attempting a repair but I would like to have a replacement handy. Just in case.

Wanted ~ front nose cone indicator pod(s)
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO replied to daverobs2's topic in Parts Wanted
The pods aren’t the best for screwing into. Can you repair the pod with epoxy/ araldite or similar. -

Courier recommendations
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO replied to Craigieboy's topic in The Start Line
I've just had 4 tyres delivered from Demon Tweeks by parcel force. Ordered Friday, delivered Monday. Don't know about picking up from a private address, but it worked from a business. -
I recently sent a Westfield exhaust to Germany, it was collected by DPD and delivered 3 days later. only thing I had to do was pack it well and print the label off.

Wanted one front indicator pod. When I removed my front indicators I found that one of my “short” SVA nose cone indicator pod bolts is spinning in the plastic so I’m looking for a replacement. No light fittings required as I’m fitting combined DRL/indicators. Has anyone have any after converting to the Caterham style? Many thanks.

Hi, I'm looking for some advice on which courier is best. I have some large items to sell on, notably a set of new Rainsport tyres and a SBFS hood, so I would ideally need the courier to collect them too. I've only ever sold smaller items on Ebay and used the local Post Office for those. Also, what would be the best way to post the tyres? I've seen rolls of shrink wrap on Ebay and thought I could wrap them in pairs, as long as they weren't too heavy. I've discounted Evri, but any advice or recommendations are gladly received.

It's like the tide, no point trying to beat it, it's the way it is. It'll soon turn and summer come back again. The important thing is to enjoy it while its here and not let somthing else hold you back. -

i purchased a 893 megablade last year. i was also surprised how much fun the early engine is. mines a 2008
-
Yup,on a y reg so 2001 registered but purchased as a kit a bit before that, and yes still an sc28 model fireblade engine so 893cc although it does go very well, i was suprised just how useable that old fireblade engine is! Its happy round town but does get a bit warm sitting in traffic

Morning I am new to this club and not sure how to PM you

Your cars registered 2001, not one of the first ones but near there, the mega range started around 2000. Its an 893cc blade engine according to the V5. I know of 10 different engines fitted to megablade chassis. I've not seen an engine cover like that which could be a copy. If you want vents they are available

Yea, I'm planning to go to Scotland again at some point weather dependant. So far. IOM week booked, not the bike week unfortunately. So far. Don't do track days as I find it pointless
