What made you go back to 2.4 and would that fit with a rally design wide track kit as its been cut down

If it helps, this is the midlites with 260mm disc under 13" cxr's. Plenty of space to get 285mm disc's under there.

This new steering rack was fitted by Siltech in February to my Westfield, never been used on road, decided to go back to 2.4 ratio (what I previously used). Threads have been cut back 10mm by Siltech, images shows thread length. Alloy rack mounts machined by Siltech to suit HD rack. They fit nice and snug. Rack cost me £220, mods to alloy mounts £50. So it owes me £270. Happy to split. Rack £150 Alloy mounts to match £20 collection preferred by can post for £10 Parts at CW11 1DX thanks Andy

Westfield SEIW – 1996 kit, registered 01 May 1997 Complete nut and bolt rebuild 2015 – 2017, back to bear chassis re powder coat etc Folder full of receipts going back to 1996 when car was purchased from Westfield. Yes, didn't have a garage for 2 years... Still, it's mostly back now. I actually have a bit more time now the kids are a lot more grown up Everyone loves a project and it means I get to learn what does what and how to actually take it to bits myself. Was a car I bought complete 2nd hand.

It won't hurt to rev it a little higher in short bursts especially in the lower gear without to much load bearing in mind your in a 7 which weighs nothing compared to escorts try to avoid to much idling as that's where you valve train cam etc are at their most loaded I used to wind the idle up a bit when running in

Ahh I was thinking of 600! Thanks for the advice. I’m doing nothing above 3000rpm which I think is okay. Any advice taken!!
