Kenner replied to Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO's topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
I got stuck in load of traffic on way back from airport run to Birmingham. as I was going to pop in but it was getting closer to 12 noon I knew you be out on drive by then. -
I used both as i have a return fron the radiator to the header and also one from the thermostat. You could always jubilee an end cap on if not using both https://ebay.us/m/D9zSON
-
I can confirm they are Midilites, and would fit under Team Dynamics 1.2 13"
-
I have the same calipers (thanks @LoneWolf for correcting the spec) and Compomotive CXR wheels and they fit 👍
- Today
-
Ok thanks everyone for the info. Until as always I have compomotive cxr wheels.

Willwood Big brake kit.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman replied to Steve Bosworth's topic in Parts for Sale
Yep, when it comes to the mid size and bigger four pot calipers, it’s just impossible to talk in generalities when it comes to 13” wheels fitting or not. You have to be specific about which caliper/disc type you have - sometimes with the radial mount types, even the specific kit used. At the same time you also have to be specific about the precise alloy wheel make, model and size. As has been said, many 13” options, I suspect probably more the budget to mid price types like many Minilite replicas, have rims that are just too thick for some of the four pot options. Where as the more premium types, like Images range, Compomotive CXR’s etc - all designed to be lighter weight, but strong, are that bit thinner with a bit more room for the calipers. -
The calipers look to be Midilites, which are what RallyDesign is offering with the 285mm disc. They market that as 15" only, but I agree with @mTT97 as clearance hugely depends on the wheels used. Split rims usually have much more space than one piece wheels.

Never liked that bit of the island - perhaps her aura is all consuming. -
Thanks for the feedback @westfield_bumble. I noticed the two input feeds and also that on the WPS listing one just seems to have had a small bolt screwed in to it. I understand this is often done on Polo radiators quite often, but it doesn't seem best to me!
-
These look now like Wilwood Powerlite calipers to me. If they are, they fit under 13” Team Dynamics 1.2 and Compomotive CXR wheels. I believe Minilites have thicker rims…..

New to the Westfield club! Just picked this up from Toybox last week. First drive was collecting her from Burton and driving back to North London on the A roads in the glorious sunshine! And a lot of driving this 1st weekend including a meet up with a friend and his GBS Loving every second so far!

djtom started following Springs, windscreen, carbon airbox
-
One pair 325lb x 8” springs, to suit 1.9” dia shocks. Reasonable used condition. £28.50 posted. Brand new windscreen with black surround for a wide body car (was bought for an SEiW). Unused and unmarked. £250 collected from West Horsley, nr Guildford, Surrey. Carbon airbox to suit ITBs. Comes with a nice K&N air filter. Fits a standard Pipercross back plate (not included). Incredibly light. Not the absolute neatest bit of carbon manufacture I’ve seen as some of the weave is a bit uneven and the lacquer has whitened slightly in places, but functionally fine. Happy to take measurements if needed, let me know know if so. £220 posted.

There were 3 Andy's, Dave, Ann and us meeting at Quacker's cafe for breakfast Quacker's car park We took off onto the sweeping bends of the Peak District with lovely views along the way, feeling cooler than expected. We arrived at Bike and Boot, Hathersage for the lunch stop. Bike and Boot car park Andy Westwood was wearing a nice hat that would match @aeg's car perfectly, so we thought we would taunt him with it😁 Inside Bike and Boot Glen and I had paella, what a treat from the usual cheese sandwich These two can't half eat Next we went for cake at the Pavillion, Baslow with a slight diversion when I lost all of you, waved as you all drove towards us 🤣but we got there in the end. It was a bit full because there was a 'colour run' event on, with children running on the sports field covered in coloured powder paint. We made good of a bad situation when Julie spied the home baked cakes, here they are! 'Well what happens to these, are they for sale?' I asked. The lady kindly replied 'yes, shortly, they will be £1 a slice to raise funds for the local school' Well it's rude not to join in, so the inevitable happened..... Best of it is we had already been eating cake from the cafe, Glen here laughing at all the Andy's as he was served the biggest slice by far It was a great day out, I hope we helped our new member's out with the cooling of the Sigma engine. Delighted that we were when we found out Andy and Ann were from Yorkshire, stolen right from under @Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO's nose 😀. Thanks for coming everyone, see ya all next time XX- 20 replies

I have no way to confirm this sorry. The repair was done by a forum member Steve D who used to run Winsford Body Shop

Just removed from my Westfield, too much under my dash as it is so divided to sell. works perfectly and comes with scuttle connectors. £100 - collected (could take to Malvern)
