Does anyone have any usable (not ancient or cracked, with a decent bit of tread left) 185/60 R13 tyres? I have hideous 15" wheels on my car at the moment that it came with. I've got some cheap 13s to try before I spend a load of money on CXRs (or whatever), so I'm looking for some tyres to try them with. The rims I have are 5.5J, so I don't think I can go any bigger on the back than 185? Needs to be within reach of Oxfordshire, or able to ship. Thanks

Happy BIG Birthday Phil
Hafod replied to Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO's topic in Stuff & Nonsense
Thank Ian, bought myself an Insta360 x5 for my birthday as I was fed up with my GoPros always having a problem. Working out how to mount it on the roll cage now using the GP mounts I have. Taking a look at the separate forum for ideas. it’s raining today but I was hoping to go out for a spin later and the dinner out. -

Tighter coils at the top should fractionally reduce unsprung weight, so thats what I would do. -

I put the tighter coils to the top, transformed the ride. No more bottoming out on compressions -

Oh that’s a shame! Good luck with the fix. I’ve been through a few starter motors so I’d say you’ve definitely had your money’s worth out of one that old! We’ll certainly be back over again, will keep you posted. -

Hi Richard, If Lonewolf doesn't take it, or arrangements can't be made, I'd like to take it. Whereabouts are you? I can probably collect. Regards Howard -

Hi everyone. Some of you have already interacted with me and kindly shared loads of advice to my questions. For the rest of you, ive had my Westy for 2 weeks now and due to this great forum, ive probably learned more in that time than any knowledge ive gained over my lifetime. Id wanted a seven style car for many years and finally found one that I felt had my name on it. All of you can probably relate to the sheer joy i feel when driving her. Its like being on a track everytime im driving. Ive also become obsessive at trolling through these forums reading up on anything i can learn. What a great group of people you are and my sincerest gratitude to all that have and will help me so far.
