Warning to all Westfield drivers!! If you don't come out into the Peak District on a regular basis you will end up with Bagpuss Related Bad Parking Syndrome, as demonstated perfectly here! we won't name names though😁 Breakfast for 9 in Cupola Cafe. Excellent quality food, not cheap but defo not nasty. We were out of the cafe before 11 and off on our run out. It stayed dry, the roads were really quiet, I did a superb last minute left turn (proud of that, nearly missed it!), had to take my sunglasses off on the tops due to fog and we all landed safely at The Tea Junction, Hulme End. Rita We all had a Worzel Gummidge moment, here's mine Ian was in control of his hair this week, until he sat next to me that is😁 That's it, we were done in record time and on our way home at 12:45, dry, light and all good having had a fun day with not a word of common sense between us. It's @AndrewBClarke's Christmas Party next Saturday at The Bentley Brook, if the weather is kind I will be doing a run out beforehand, looking forward to it, see you all there XXXX -
Well I was just trying to get the diameter of the bar without the bother of getting off the sofa. I didn't expect to be in danger of being cancelled.
-
Googles crap ai totally misleading told me the clutch cover on my fireblade engine was bolted directly to the flywheel and not the crankcase 🤔
-
I did a Google search for Westfield Jap Bars. Google helpfully corrected that to Westfield Japanese Bars. I told Google that, no, I meant Westfield Jap Bar. Notheless, Google helpfully gave me a load of pictures of nice Japanese people sitting at bars 🫣

Another smashing day out, thanks as ever to Julie & Glen. Roads pretty quiet and we had a fab drive up and back. A little foggy but all adds to the fun. -

Went out for a blast this afternoon to clearing my head after shouting at the electric company all afternoon. While putting Westie away: Things can always get a little worse...
-
I have contacted Coverdale and have made some templates for them to make me a carpet set. At least this way i am getting carpets to fit exactly to my build.

Well it needs to be simple enough for me to understand it! Essentially, if you have a removable steering wheel, it allows control of things like indicators, lights, wipers, horn etc from buttons on the wheel. This is done via a battery powered wireless transmitter on the wheel connected to the buttons, and a relay box receiver (in my case) which generally goes behind the dash and needs to be fitted either alongside or in place of the various controls on the dash or steering column. There are more sophisticated systems involving CAN bus for example but my car is way too basic to need any of that 🤣. -
Put it back on for next mot unless your planning more bank robberies
-
As a safety feature I think it's a great idea. Make sure your MOT man doesn't get arsey about it though, you know what they are like these days. I had my Jag failed on the number plate for the first time in 35 years, and the guy who failed it passed it last year! Needless to say, he is no longer my MOT guy 😂

I've seen this system crop up many times on WSCC, can someone explain in simple terms (yeah go on, laugh your heads off 😂) for the likes of me, what it does please? PS. asking on behalf of a friend 😂 -
Yeah I've set both to solid. I was just seeing what they could do

Still investigating the miss-fire. No concrete leads as yet, three plugs definitely showing signs of abnormal combustion some, though not much, soot marking, which would tally with dropping on to one cylinder, while running. One plug completely normal/good combustion looking, the others variations on this: There was a little "loose" oil in the bottom of the plug wells, no where near enough to reach as far up as the electrical contacts, but enough to wet the plug threads taking them out - I couldn't get any more oil out. before removing the plugs. -
Best set them to solid - it’s not legal to have flashing brake lights. The main reason flashing lights are illegal is to prevent confusion with emergency vehicles, such as police cars and recovery trucks, which have specific exemptions for using flashing red lights. Some newer vehicles have an "emergency stop signal" which flashes the brake lights during very heavy braking, but this is an EU-mandated feature that must deactivate automatically once braking slows or hazard lights are activated

I've had a short mainly foggy run into the Peaks to join the gang for breakfast only and an equally foggy run home. Roads mainly dry and dirty! Nice to be out! Almost a poppy for @Greenstreak-Andy D My Peaky 'Bat cave' A great turn out as usual -
Will try get a better video later. They can be set to either flash or be solid. One of each above. The "V" light has been trimmed off one end as it was too long so the centre is on the up on the right hand side of cage and the pattern is out for any one with ocd 🤣 Also can be used as indicators but only in red where it lights from one side and runs to the other like the fancy new ones
-
I’ll pm you now
-
Cheers I’ll check it out
-
