To which end, it would help to say which chassis you have; most FW’s tend to use the chassis for the Zetec engine with MT75 or T9 gearboxes. So all share the same carpet set. But SEiGHT’s, Mega S2000’s, Sport 250’s and bike engined cars all have different, as the chassis are designed for bigger gearboxes, on the car engines models, and effectively just the prop and reverse ‘box on the bike engined models. What age is the car? (Although discontinued by the time FW bodywork came along, there used to be something called the Type 9 chassis, this had the narrowest of the car engine transmission tunnels, suited to the old 4 speed and later 5 speed T9 box. Thus has the widest car engined front carpets, and narrowest tunnel carpeting.

Smudge62 started following Vinyl Covered Kick Strips
-
Vinyl covered kick strips in very good condition, passenger one left side das been trimmed as I had a full cage fitted and it was to close to the body to allow the kick strip to fit between so had no option but to trim it a little. £30 posted

Thanks for posting that video, I'll post link in a few minutes. Not sure why your getting that issue as when I posted the Blyton Lap it wanted to show the full video I had to change it to reduce it to just the link. Very odd. -

I'm yet to find that article, but I did find this..... https://youtu.be/S_ZqtNQgrCc?si=2Wc7W9TBvo3OGrHk -
FYI mats from a ZK will also fit because it’s the chassis that matters here, not the body style 👍

Previous times for competitors in the Westfield Speed Series
Terry Everall posted a topic in 7s Speed Series / Hill Climbing / Racing
I think it would be good if we could reinstate the times from previous years events so they can be used by competitors and driver as a comparison with the times being set from this year in the 7's Sprint Championship-

The gearing is good, works well for me. -
don't suppose anyone has a front set of carpets/mats for a FW that their not using, must be in good condition. Mine are getting a bit worn on the drivers side.

Shropshire (Wales?) and Newcott Chippy NWKCOG Meet.
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO posted a topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
I visited Llandudno last Saturday with the family and realised it was two years since my last blat into Wales. I'd seen the NWKCOG had a lunch time meet planned for today, so I suggested to a few, how about a blat into Wales first. Some (well two), weren't so keen on my suggested leave home time of 6am, so I met @Tony H , @M8KWR Dave Fleet (Orange Mev) @Louie just outside Trentham Garden's. As I was travelling there @andyjs spotted I was out and joined us with his Caterham pilot friend Scott. On my way there I took this pic- Just arrived outside Trentham Gardens We then headed over to Audlem to meet @CosKev Tony Hallam (Tiger owner with a Saab Turbo engine). Kev had kindly put a great run together for us, but due to the later than wanted start time we weren't likely to get as far into Wales as I'd hoped for. Here's are route. Some great roads. A brief stop to water the plants. Found this interesting car at a fuel stop in Shrewsbury. Only 1 made it's a McEwen and Pete it's owner and driver was in it! He's a kiwi but lived in the UK since the 80's. The car is 600kgs and powered by a 2.5L EcoBoost currently running at 300bhp. Mainly used on track. @CosKev & Tony Hallam needed to head to their respective homes, so I led the six others to the Newcott Chippy. Lot's of fake snakes and a few 7's!-

Why not use two glass beads set in rubber like what's been used for 300 years you have to have a round wheel square won't work some nxb got loadsa money to design that hideous lump of alloy which will probably all be nicked when the lads with the transit pick up work out it's easy cash to rip em out.
