Sorry I'm away in Scotland -
Hi, it was good to be at Donington again and the Westie went well all day. The only trouble was countless red flags which made things a bit stop start at times, mainly due to cars getting stranded in the gravel or breakdowns. Good selection of cars from 2CVs to Porsche GT3s and a Mclaren! Also several Locosts practising for races next week, which were going well too

Hi Mark, I usually do 5 or 6 per year including all of the tracks you mention and agree that Cadwell takes some beating I have a shared MX5 turbo which tends to get most track use these days, and in fact we will be at Bedford on Saturday in that car

@Mat Jackson 1975 I have one and an ST170 cover. See photos below. Both have been ‘trimmed’ and the blacktop Zetec version has had a lug cut off. Blacktop ST170

Hi Neil i will pm you

Thanks Ian. You're probably right. I've recently had scam WhatsApps too, with both my name and the date and place of a Best Western I've booked. That was a known data breach, but this one isn't. Barstewards

black country April meet (pushed back a week)
Rhett Turner - Black Country AO posted a topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
Hello All, April has arrived and the weather is getting better I expect some cars may even be off SORN. The April meeting should be this weekend 5th April. As it's a holiday weekend and a lot of us are away I'm pushing the meeting back a week to the 12 April. Hopefully the weather will be nice and more of us will be available. See you a week on Sunday Thanks Rhett 7pm, 12th April at the Dudley Arms, Himley. DY3 4LB. -
PCP Scammers
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO replied to Stuart's topic in Stuff & Nonsense
They've likely bought lists of reg numbers/mobile numbers etc off the dark web. Your details could have been leaked from numerous sources that have had your information, dealers, tyre garages, breakdown companies, insurance companies etc. -
I was half expecting that to be a Rick Astley video...

First seen Dave in CCC write ups, he has always made a lot of sense.

Excellent, I've known Dave for about 40 years and been an emerald mapper for nearly 30 .. walkers workshop was always the first thing I turned to in the old cars and car conversions magazine. Always a brilliant read. Very clever man.

Apologies if this is elsewhere - did a search but didn't find it. Anyhoo, Dave now has a YT channel, found it yesterday. https://www.youtube.com/@EmeraldM3D-Dave Only a few vids so far but hopefully many more to come.

Sorry we can't make this one -
I do the same — suddenly I really need to buy something super important, so I take the car and turn a 5-minute walk or bike ride into a one-hour trip
-
Good luck with the search. i don’t think there was ever that many made; there was only five 4-branch manifolds made for the 1.6 engine and maybe 10-15 at the most for the 1.8. When originally released in 2013 they were only £350 but in the end the prices climbed to over £750.

Perfectly normal I took mine out this evening to get fuel and couldn't find a closer petrol station than 20 miles away.

I assume that's unfortunate timing on the Stonleigh organisers side of things. That said, beyond on here, I've not seen any formal announcements or news articles regarding the company status.
