I've owned my megablade for 18 months now and done nearly 7,000 miles in it trouble free sounds alot yes but I purchased it to drive not park on the drive to buff up.Today whilst out on a drive 30 miles from home I had my first small mechanical failure my gear shift linkage broke leaving me stuck in 6th gear so I turned round and started my journey home which included going through the middle of a large town chelmsford with multiple roundabouts, traffic lights and queues of cars in 6th gear it didn't stall once no clutch burn I was shocked I was able to do this lots of stop start and made it home no problem I can't think of another car I could have done this in pat on the bonnet for my meg. At least I learnt one thing from this I can go from 0 to 130 in one gear.

Electricity bills !
Craigieboy replied to Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO's topic in Stuff & Nonsense
I watched a bit of Simon Reeve in Norway on the BBC. Apparently before North Sea oil was discovered in 1969, it was pretty much a backwater with fishing the only industry. They however invested their oil money and now have a 13 trillion public bond. So they can fund all the public spending they want and however much they spend per year the interest on the bond is soo much, it still goes up. -

Issue is that the grid is crap. So it's that or pylons everywhere. Great planning by our short term governments as always -

Great weekend, the bar and bbq was awesome, 7 series table merged with caterham so quite a crowd. Fingers crossed Mark Bishop can get his car back on the road soon after his final run off. -

Read it, crazy isn't it and all the while they are trying to push us into electric cars. I would miby consider one if it was cheaper like they are in Norway. I've watched a few videos of a bunch of microlight flyers and they always know when they've crossed the border into Scotland, because the wind farms start! -

Hi, I’m Northwest based but will travel. is there a list of Track day venues with dates where other members go to? I’ve done a couple of them in the past few years but have never seen another Westfield. I’m looking to book soon. Thanks Damon
