Well done Ian, great job! 7.27 pace sounds pretty fast to me! -
I have no way to confirm this sorry. The repair was done by a forum member Steve D who used to run Winsford Body Shop

6 Westfields and a MX5 today. Not as sunny as last week, but dry. After feeding our faces, we had a little drive over to the Motorist, taking a longer, more scenic route apart from going through Knottingley maybe. A possible new member came up from Sheffield, hopefully he'll join up soon.- 1 reply

Thanks, @Captain Colonial. Our post seems generally OK so it's almost as though Jersey Post is deliberately targetting WSCC stuff! Must admit, I'm very intrigued as to the identity of your sister-in-law. Jersey is sufficiently small that our paths may well have crossed... As suggested, I've gone with the electronic membership this time around. -

I have a set of 4 TD pro 2 in silver. All 7J. 3 have rim damage. 1 light, the other 2 cosmetic on edge of rim. Could be repaired or used for racing. 1 front has no damage. Front ET 40, Rear ET 18 (my measurement, so approx) £150 takes them. Include Westfield centre caps collection only from CW11 1DX thanks Andy -
I have 4 tyres for sale. 205/50 R15 86V I really like them. Good in dry and wet. My Westie is a tourer. So well suited IMO. All date stamped 39 2021. 2x with 3.5-4mm tread and 2x with 6mm tread. £100 collected from CW11 1DX I am not posting! Andy Andy

Here is an incredibly well looked after car which I have owned it since 2022. MOT - end of April 2026 - just had a fresh one and no advisories, as normal. correctly registered, of course. Car costs so little to keep - £160 a year insurance etc.....does very fair MPG too in think... Runs and drivers perfect and has been 100% trouble free i service the car and have done twice, oil is so clean you struggle to see it on the dipstick. diff and gearbox oil complete last year Car has not seen rain, i bought for me and my then 15 year old son, to get him interested in servicing and maintaining cars, as well as enjoying weekend drivers! - its been perfect in my ownership. Cam Belt changed this time last year - have the receipt for this via a local garage I personally searched for 6 months before buying this car...the Speedsport was the highest spec/ cost outside of the Seight when built, it had suspension upgrades etc that other widebody Westfields of this era had to add as an option, as i understand it. The work listed as "new" on the below list was completed by the previous owner, by garages near him, in 2022/ 2021, he was another forum member - car was bought via this forum; this work included the gearbox change - have the receipts for this work into the Thousands and have a huge folder full of information, including original build manual, as with all the well cared for Westfields. Engine: 1.8 Ford Zetec Jenvey throttle bodies Remapped at Snetterton SpeedShop - have the print out c160bhp - few years ago Wrapped exhausted manifold NGK platinum spark plugs - Done c1000 miles Gear box - completed by garage via previous owner: Brand New MT75 five speed gearbox (inc. new slave clutch cylinder installed which helps to future proof the car) – installed May 2022. Done c1000 miles Short shift fitted New clutch master cylinder installed - May 2022 - Done c1000 miles Xr4x4 diff Mechanicals - the below were completed in 2021/2022, the whole front end effectively looks as new and all the below has done c1000 miles - tried to show in images!: Willwood front brake calliper upgrades including new drilled brake discs all around and new Yellow Stuff brake pads all around - done 1000 miles...perfect, nothing stops faster Reconditioned front anti-roll bar Reconditioned Ford front wheel hubs New track rod ends New ball joints New rear wheel bearings New steering rack mounting New battery New Bosch fuel filter All liquids changed New Protech adjustable suspension all around from Westfield Done c1000 miles Interior: Momo quick release steering wheel Westfield self-cancelling indicator fitted Heater Willians safety belts Bespoke ‘Bentley Style’ stitched blue leather interior and new carpets - £1,200 cost in 2021. Battery voltage and USB port - to charge a phone] Phone holder - visible when driving for google maps etc Exterior: Half cage fitted - purely for safety reasons - still have original Westfield roll hoop - buyer is welcome to have this too comes with aero wind side deflectors as well as doors, for those summer blasts its a lot of fun without the doors, but windy without the perspex deflectors. Comes with bikini top, in case of a shower - never used personally, I bought from Westfield when they re-opened New 15" Cades Eros Black Wheels (including spare wheel) - Done c1000 miles - perfect condition Superb condition 195/50/15 (VR) TOYO R888R Tyres - spare never used! She's a lovely little car, time to move it forward to someone new - cars on a trickle charger 365 days a year in my garage, at home - only comes out on weekends - i have some of the correct mt75 gearbox oil and some correct diff oil i think - which you are welcome to have this with her, if you want it. Only bad bit is the boot box - useable yup, fitted yup, poorly cut - yup. And some poppers on the boot box lid (soft bits) have failed and could do with changing for new Please reach out for any questions - Lav25th@hotmail.com or 07900938206 - Simon shall we say £9750, for a hopefully painless transaction to another careful owner?? No test drives until deal is agreed and car is insured by you, happy for you to pay for the car after a successful test drive and satisfaction; via bank transfer only, not cash please - you can then drive it, any issues, you wont have paid and I'll happily cancel the deal with you - i can take you out, initially of course.... but am totally confident no one walks away following a drive. Car is in North Hampshire/ Berkshire borders between Newbury, Reading and Basingstoke. thanks for reading! -

Just had a look at the fitted Fiesta tank and the mounting is not the same pattern as this aftermarket tank. The ali bracket on the nearside does look like it'll support the Corsa/Combo tank Westfield now supply, though. Will need to reroute the catch can plumbing, mind. WPS: https://westfield-sportscars.co.uk/shop/2621003-expansion-header-tank-6869#attr= eBay: https://ebay.us/m/kZQW4q What size of coolant tank is appropriate, for a 2l Duratec? Coolant doesn't expand that much, based on volume of system and expansion of water. Only about 100ml for 6l (approx system volume) going from 20 to 100 degrees.

A week too late for me -
11hrs in the saddle sounds like heaven, especially up here in this weather 😍 Good route today, obviously a bit quicker leaving out the coastal section of the 500. Any proper run requires a ferry journey, it's the rules, unfortunately the Mallaig ferry was fully booked for my return home. I just love a wee Calmac, always means your going somewhere good. Have a safe one and keep the pictures coming
