  6. Meet at Quackers Cafe, 10am for refreshments before heading off onto the fabulous Peak District roads. Who is coming? All welcome to the meet at Quackers, members only on the run out, keep it fair.
  7. A friend of mine has designed and printed me a bracket to hold a high level brake light onto the roll bar. I have 2 more left over from the design he did. He charged me £20 for each of them if anyone is interested 1….L-255mm W-30mm D-12mm 2…244mm W-30mm D-12mm ( has 2 small holes drilled )
  8. Perhaps contact Martin Letts, Hampshire and IOW AO too. He's been loads of times

    Caterham have been Branching Out

Good value for a submarine part. Usually when the word "marine" is added, the price triples, same as it does for "race" or "Cosworth"...
  11. Thanks for your reply, no not advertised elsewhere. Have had issues with selling privately on other sites Autotrader etc. So just on here. Thought on Westfield OC it would be gone at the price asked. Have had one enquiry, but for some reason they seemed bothered about a bit of surface cracking on the fibreglass at the rear on a 24 year old body. Go figure that one. 🤔😄 Anyway thanks for your advice, much appreciated. 👍
  12. Sorry Ian. Would love to have have met up again, but I'm in the US on that date. Hope you all have a great trip. Andrew

    Front cycle wings

Supporting Ash here. I happily paid £25 quid for him to pack and send me carbon cycle wings. There's a pic of the cardboard box they came in below. It's proper sturdy! Follow the URL for prices. There was enough bubble wrap to smother a horse!! The cycle wings were undamaged despite ParcelForce managing to put a dent in the box. Remember the two from rule: You can have any two from Good, Fast and Cheap. Whichever two you pick, it won't be the third!!
  14. I'm very surprised this is still available - is it advertised elsewhere? CVH is underrated - we upgraded @Captain Colonial's car to throttle bodies a few years ago on a budget and transformed that - hopefully now the sun is out and with a fresh MOT you'll find the right buyer (suggest some fresh photos from all angles in the sun could help). Good luck!

    Front cycle wings

And like i also said in the phone conversation the box i put my cycle wings in grp or carbon cost me £10 as its super strong quadruple thinkness cardboard then you have 1.5 metres of bubble wrap per wing which all has to be paid for sending the parcel with insurance is £11.59 on its own with parcel force with insurance so we are up to £25 there .i could throw them in a black bag and send them via evri and throw some parcel tape around it for about £8 but i wouldnt trust them with a packet of crisps and i like all my parcels to arrive in excellent condition if your spending £80 or £400 on cycle wings and i have never a had parcel or item return due to poor packing and the item has got damaged and i send around 100 parcels per month .

Thank you so much, kind sir! @Tim-s
  17. Cannot believe this is still for sale to be honest, bearing in mind the time of year and the price. Maybe it is too cheap, who knows. 😄 Price will be increased significantly anyway in a few weeks or so when mot should be done. 👍 Mark.

    Front cycle wings

Hi Ash If you remember our conversation, I did not ask you to send these for £10,I said that I thought £20 you quoted was expensive, taking into account many parcels I have sent out of various dimensions and weight via Royal Snail that have cost around or less than £10 admittedly using boxes I had here. (The carriage cost being based on the weight of the parcel) I am quite happy to sell items for the agreed price and charge delivery at cost and do not charge for packaging materials. Cheers Derek

  23. Hello All, I am off to 24hr LE Mans 2025 race event for the 1st time . I am off with my dad for his 60th birthday. Just wondered if anyone else had been to previous events. If got any tips or info etc, also what weather was like. We are in Porsche cayenne so have plenty of space with only x2 us going. We camping over at Beausejour next to Virage Porsche for the whole event. Not sure what it is like, dad booked it all so not sure what we get etc. He lives on Isle of man and bring car over this weekend so hopefully I get more details lol. We set off on Tuesday 10th June to set off from near Leeds, doing little road trip down. Pencilled in a visit café n machine, Clarkson farm and maybe his pub. Then getting over night ferry from Portsmouth to Le mans as campsite opens up Wednesday morning. The we leave Le mans on Monday 23rd June and return via Calais on ferry. Sort doing mini tour of North of France. Cheers Andy

    Thanks Howden Insurance (formerly A-Plan)

I hate the way this is happening throughout the world. It's terrible for mental health. It's all done in the name of efficiency ie profit and it disgusts me quite frankly. Even GPs now you can't get to speak to anyone, it's all done online. Doctors are telling people to do the exact thing that is making people ill, it's ridiculous. Like we don't all spend too much time with screens as it is! And it's certainly not efficient from a customer's point of view, in the end 99% of the time I end up speaking to a person to get an issue sorted anyway but it just takes 5 times as long as it used to. It sucks to say the least. Rant over
