National Kitcar Show or Stoneleigh again?
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO replied to Boftus's topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
@Martin Aldred - Shows & Events Coordinator may I leave you to reply? -
My email address is in my profile. If you want to sell me the roll bar and seatbelt protectors, tell me the price including shipping and I'll pay you by bank transfer, PayPal, or card, whichever you prefer.
-
You won't have any problems. If you want to do business with me, I'll pay you without any issues, including the shipping costs you specify.
-
I'm sorry, my English isn't good. I'll try to communicate as best I can.
-
If you send the bar to Spain, I'll buy it from you.
-
Yes, I know it's not compatible, but I'm going to modify it to make it so.

National Kitcar Show or Stoneleigh again?
Boftus posted a topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
To those that provide many hours organising such events. I am planning what i can attend this year as there seem to be many clashes with local shows and personal plans already. i think this time last year, there was info already announced regarding the national show, but it is likely that i am wrong about that lol is the WSCC still planning to do the usual big show at this event? also wondered if there are any plans for the new Stoneleigh Selfbuild/Kit show? - Today

Westfield seiw roll bar

I read his message as if the buyer doesn't actually take the item, he'll be interested. Though your good advice below, means it's not suitable for him -
Seat belt buckle covers
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO replied to Rednop1's topic in Parts for Sale
@Rednop1 I agree his expectations and phrases are unusual. Though his English is far better than my Spanish. We'll keep an eye on his posts, but there's not a lot else we can do to validate him. As with all buying and selling on here, I'd be wary of a new member and would prefer to trade with someone who's demonstrated a good trading record such as that nice chap in the West Midlands with lots of car parts down the back of his sofa! -
He's a Paid 60-Day Member. He's paid his money, so entitled to attempt to do business with you if you're willing.

The listing says plus postage which means i will send them @admin is this profile genuine ?? Some strange messages from a trial member that only joined 4 days ago ?????
-
I'm a little confused by your message The item is SOLD subjust to collection Your car profile is saying you have a Se car which means it will not fit your car anyway ??

carlosquelet replied to R_P_M_'s topic in Parts for Sale
I´m interested in Front and rear anti-roll bars (SE). You can send them to Spain, paying the shipping costs.? -
I see you don't want to send the roll bar, which is subject to a return agreement. If you change your mind, I'd buy it from you along with the seatbelt covers.

Tyres for 7's Speed Series
Steve G. replied to Richard Houlgate's topic in 7s Speed Series Discussion
I struggled to get normal road tyres for my car and ended up with Yokohama A539's. Has anyone used these on track ? I've got no idea what they would be like compared with what people have been using but if everyone used the same it would be fair and it might make it possible to get a bit of discount on a quantity of them. I wanted a set of 185/60 HR 13 Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 but they still look to be unavailable and again no idea what they would be like. I've been doing a bit of searching and found these https://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/mrf-zrt-185-60r13-80h-tyres.html Not heard of them before but their website is here https://mrfmotorsporttyresuk.com/ -

Hi James, Great to hear my previous car is still in the club - it was my first Westfield and I absolutely adored that car; I was totally gutted that I had to sell it. Wishing you the best of luck in the speed series. I’m hoping to go and watch a few events this year so will pop over and say hello. I’m 99% certain I bought them direct from Protech, but it could have been Westfield themselves. I remember speaking to the factory to buy something or other, and was totally upsold, hence the wide track upgrade etc. I’ll continue to search through my old emails and see what I can find. Mat -

As Scott said, I have found and removed all of the (encrypted) card details that were on file, so that from now on no auto-renewals should be possible. If anyone does get billed, please shout up. -

The Webmaster (all hail the Webmaster and name your first born after him) was also stumped, but on digging deep into the quagmire of info discovered an encrypted file containing stored encrypted card details. I agreed with him that was probably where the issue was, which did not occur until the club changed payment portals from PayPal to Stripe just over a year ago. He asked if those card details (which were encrypted, just to be clear again) should be deleted, to which I said yes, do it please. So if anything goes wrong, it’s on my head. The only tiny inconvenience is that no one will be able to store their card details backstage any longer, so you will need to input your full card details every time you purchase or renew your membership, but better that than the system taking it without your or our knowledge. Will keep an eye on this…. Pass the vodka, please. -

I totally understand. Chatting with @WSCC Webmaster in a few minutes to make it his problem. Can’t see or fund a single thing wrong myself AT ALL. Driving me scatty.
