If anyone’s interested in a set of Sierra rear calipers (painted red) let me know. Removed as I’ve gone Golf. Worked fine but would expect they’d want a rebuild as they’ve been fitted for a while.

Buyers fees were over 800. The only concern with that car is the rust.

North East Breakfast Run/Meet
Markh80 North East Area Organiser posted a topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
morning guys, toying with the idea of doing a breakfast run for the North East, was looking at doing this on the on sat the 28th of June but dates can be flexible depending on peoples calendars. was thinking of a nice earlier start around 7-7.30am maybes at the church mouse head over to Alston, then over to Middleton Teeside and surrounding areas before circling back towards crook where we could stop at the diary barn for breakfast. would be a good chance to meet everyone from the north east and to get the cars out also, just wondering what your thoughts are on this and dates wise thanks Mark -

Have a fantastic trip, everyone! -
Bike reg/recs are notorious failure points. In a BEC they may be worse as they potentially won't have the same cooling airflow as they would have on the bike.

What are they? -
-
@Jason_B thanks but which compound for polishing? From what I can see they're all yellow bottles and there seems to be lots of different grades
-
I have a set of standard track wishbones In nice condition
-
Thanks Howard that will be great thanks I'll PM you. Cheers
-
I also use water with it, less likely to burn the paint. It will get messy, well for me it does lol

Jason_B started following Which polishing compound?

I have used Farecla G3 (yellow bottle) on cars for year with no problems. Haven’t used it on my westy before but wouldn’t have any issues in using it.
-
I'm astounded this got no replies. I thought the club would have loads of expert detailers. Or have I asked a stupid question?
-
Sorry to hear about this, it will be a different chapter in your life for now but you will soon be back Westfielding. Best of luck sweetie x
-
Sorry to hear this and glad you are ok. my advice is get the car home and locked in your garage, don’t let it out of your sight, any assessors can come to you, that way you’re in a better position to keep the salvage if its written off. once write offs get in the system they can soon disappear to a salvage yard miles away.

After a nose cone and bonnet for a narrow body car. Colour not really important thank you jez
-
Just hope it is either battery or voltage regulator, nothing worse... start to hate this car.. Tommorow will get new battery , try to start and see what voltage regulator supply to current. As I was told should be approx 14,4V. From memory I saw only 12,8-13,5 V this area. So maybe voltage rgulator failure.
