Mine last carcoon bought this Year is from eBay seller : jjcraceandrally . Instant delivery even to Poland . From Demon tweaks i was waiting few months and no delivery. As for other brands - car bubble is one layer PVC, looking at pictures and mine from Alibaba seems identical - cheaper is to buy on Alibaba . Air chamber is only indoor. Car capsule - pvc and again the same as car bubble. Btw i Hope in next few days get back one od my Carcoons with installed better zipper.

Thank you for the warm welcome I will post up photos once the deal is completed which may not be for a week or so. I’m sure on here there will be many willing to give advice as I proceed with the next chapter of its progress. I am a lifelong Lotus fan and currently own an Evora GT410 Sport. The market is not good atm, prices are all over the place and there have been a lot of Westies for sale in recent months. Have you tried eBay and Pistonheads? I bought mine from Pistonheads and only discovered it was for sale on the WSCC after I'd bought it and joined this club so there may not be that many people on here looking to buy, most already have a Westfield. I'd definitely try other sales outlets like eBay, Pistonheads, Facebook etc.

I'd also suggest new photos including interior after a good polish with the CXRs fitted. If it were me, I'd emphasise it as a track day proven road car, because my impression of most track cars is that they can look rough which might put some buyers off. Maybe list the spec in sections and include gearbox and ECU? I'd also probably get the front wings clear lacquered and spend a weekend with some satin black paint on the front suspension, maybe also get a power check done on a dyno for reassurance. It could be that a carefully spent £500-£1000 would regain itself and get the sale. That should help it stand out in a busy market, hopefully

My 1st kit, a Tiger, was 105.8 tested at Castle Combe, needless to say, it never got out on track other than charity parade laps 😂

@Nige_T, spec and price are right on. Sticking my neck out i would say it's your photo's not selling the car. Put the CXR wheels on, and take some all round photos would help show off the car, also put it on the FB for sale page, you will get more coverage. IMO the CXR's bring out a raw track ready look on a Westy, but I am biased 😁

Similar to the figures I worked on it's a no brainer carcoon works out much cheaper over storage.

Brilliant! Post up some photos and specs when you can, a track focused pre-lit sounds very interesting!

Car Bubble and Airchamber I believe are two other brands.

Don't forget guys, there are other brands available and iirc from research I did years ago, some were actually better than the Carcoon brand. Of course things may have changed but dig around in Google and see what's out there
