My first one was make from alloy sheet.
-
That is mad! Another option is put on some weight so you are nicely ‘tight’ in the seat. Acceptable with age.

If you thought Westfield parts prices were expensive… In my old Westfield (sold 10 yrs ago), I had Tillett seats and bought a pad set with them to make them a bit more comfy. The pad set is simply 2 pieces of thin foam (one for you bum and one for your back) Roll on 10 years, and I’m back in a Westfield, fitted with caterham tillet seats. I’m finding I slip down in them a little so looked a buying a pad set from tillett…. !!£400!! That’s just for one seat.. Think I’ll be making my own…

Nice car, good luck with the sale. The zetec r is quite happy in my car too👍 -
It would need a lambda too (so maybe a remap). That said, I may have missed the fact it already has one

WSCC Members on TV!
Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative replied to Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO's topic in Stuff & Nonsense
The secret is out!! Well spotted @Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO. We were at H and H Car Auction, Buxton Pavillion. Our friend from the car museum bought that truck in the background, he drove it home to Derby that evening, in the dark (it was winter) with brakes that barely worked. It was a funeral directors truck and has now sold it on at good profit.- 1 reply

What the postie brought today!
LoneWolf replied to Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset's topic in The Start Line
I did, probably the best location to have it installed in my car, away from the heat soak of the engine bay. Entirely designed in CAD by myself, then built by ProAlloy to the exact spec. -

It's a chargecooler tank with a footrest plate, sized to go into the passenger footwell 😊 -

It looks like a fuel tank with a passenger footrest adjoined 😂 I'm guessing not though? -

Warwickshire Area Track Day at Curborough Sprint Course Friday May 16th
Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO replied to Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO's topic in Track Days
Unfortunately, I've just been given the bad news that the catering is unavailable for our track day! It turns out that the power system is being repaired on the same day, so there is no electricity available to run the kitchen. I suggest that we need to get breakfast before arriving at the circuit. Don't forget to bring plenty to drink for the day. Clearly, you can bring your own lunch, or you could pop out to the local eateries, approx 5 mins away, as shown on the maps below. I will need bank details so that I can reimburse the food element of the fee paid. Please PM me! -

I will try to show a few body issues in the pictures like spider cracks in the front cycle wings and nose cone. Will come with a classic additions outdoor car cover sized for Westfield's. £9995 open to sensible offers, Viewing is recommended if you are genuinely interested, Located in mid wales. 07547 817045

Hi Ash, just dropped ya a WhatsApp
-
It would be the main or even only reason I'd buy one tbh Ash, my nosecone is fine but if the weight saving were enough I'd be tempted. Or if my current grp one got damaged, then it's a no-brainer! Trouble is then I'd want a bonnet and cycle wings too. Maybe even a front splitter 😂 Looks like a beautiful bit of work Ash, stunning to look at for sure
-
I think they are about 1300g. But i have to start some next week so i could weigh one if weight is a key factor for you
